R63 is not an official Roblox avatar type or editor option. In Roblox communities, it usually means a gender-swapped or feminized version of a character, based on the internet expression “Rule 63.” You can create this look using Roblox’s normal Avatar Editor by combining a feminine body or bundle with compatible heads, hair, clothing, accessories, and animations.
It does not mean a rig with 63 joints, and you do not need an exploit, executor, or third-party launcher.

How to make an R63-style avatar in Roblox
- Open Roblox and go to Avatar.
- Select Customize.
- Open Body.
- Choose a feminine or gender-swapped body, bundle, or body parts.
- Add a compatible head, hair, face or makeup, clothing, and accessories.
- Open Skin and select the skin tone you want. On mobile, Roblox documents this path as Avatar → Customize → Body → Skin.
- Adjust available body proportions, colors, and animations until the character matches your design.
Roblox lets you mix and match many avatar components, so there is no single item called an “R63 body” that you must buy or equip. Body parts, heads, clothing, accessories, and animations are separate components in the avatar system. What to equip for the look
An R63-style avatar is simply a non-explicit feminine or gender-swapped character design. Common choices include:

- A feminine-styled head, hair, face, or makeup
- Regular Roblox shirts, pants, skirts, jackets, or dresses

- Body colors and proportions that fit the original character or your own concept
You can recreate a specific character by starting with its recognizable colors and clothing, then changing the body, head, hairstyle, and accessories. If an item clips through another item or changes the silhouette unexpectedly, remove it and try a compatible alternative rather than using an external tool.
R63 versus R6 and R15
R63 describes the character’s style; R6 and R15 describe the avatar rig. They are not interchangeable terms.

Roblox’s official avatar documentation lists supported avatar types such as R6 and R15; it does not list R63 as an avatar type.
How to make an R6 R63-style avatar

Avatar → Customize → Head & Body → Build → R6
Roblox’s layout can change and features may be rolled out differently, so the labels or location may not be identical on every account. Roblox’s avatar API documentation confirms support for choosing R6 or R15, but Roblox’s public support documentation does not currently guarantee that exact click path.

After selecting R6, equip the compatible body parts, clothing, and accessories available for that rig. The result can still be an R63-style character because R63 refers to the appearance concept, not the number of body parts.

Why the avatar may look different in a game
An avatar that looks correct in the editor may not look identical in every experience.

- The experience may force a rig type. A game can require R6, require R15, or allow the player’s choice. Check the experience’s behavior if your avatar changes after joining.
- R15 bodies may not transfer cleanly to R6. Many newer bodies use Roblox’s 15-part body system. In an R6-only experience, Roblox may substitute classic blocky body parts. That is a compatibility limitation, not necessarily a broken avatar.
- Scale settings work differently. Roblox’s developer documentation notes that avatar scale properties do not affect R6 body types in the same way they affect R15 avatars. If proportions change or stop responding after switching to R6, this may be expected.
- Items may be incompatible. Some clothing, body parts, layered clothing, or accessories are designed for particular avatar setups and may not display as intended on another rig.

Fixing an avatar preview that does not update
If the Avatar Editor still shows an old outfit after you equip or remove an item, use Roblox’s Redraw option when it is available. Roblox recommends Redraw for an avatar preview that is not displaying correctly. You can also remove the recently changed item, reload the editor, and equip the item again.

Keep the design within Roblox’s rules
Make the avatar gender-swapped or feminine without making it sexualized. Avoid sexualized body accessories, clothing, poses, descriptions, or behavior. Roblox’s Community Standards and Restricted Content Policy prohibit sexually suggestive avatar bodies, assets, clothing, emotes, and related conduct.
There is also no legitimate need for an exploit or third-party launcher. A suitable look can be made with Roblox’s own avatar items, while external tools can introduce account-security and moderation risks.
