You can build a playable stage for Genshin Impact in Miliastra Sandbox, then test and upload it for other players to discover in Miliastra Wonderland. HoYoverse says the Stage Editor and Sandbox are currently available only on PC. The editor offers terrain, object placement, reusable prefabs, combat setups and interactive logic, so you can start with a small idea rather than a full game plan.
What are Miliastra Sandbox and Miliastra Wonderland?
Miliastra Sandbox is the creation tool: it is where you build and test a stage. Miliastra Wonderland is the broader in-game user-generated-content mode where players encounter stages made by creators. HoYoverse’s October 2025 featurette invited players to craft their own gameplay, but that promotional message is not a promise of any particular editor feature or creator reward: Miliastra Wonderland Craftsperson Featurette.

Think of a stage as a compact game experience: a scene, objects and rules arranged around one clear activity. For a first project, aim for something easy to explain and test, such as reaching an exit, finding an item or finishing a short encounter.
Can you make a Miliastra game without coding?
You can assemble interactive experiences without writing conventional code. The editor has visual tools for arranging components, and a node-graph workflow can connect actions into a logical sequence. A HoYoLAB tutorial demonstrates UI Control Groups, floating pages and node graphs for opening a menu, entering a stage, moving between pages and closing the interface. Simple stages may need little or no custom interface logic. Start by placing the stage elements that make the activity understandable; add menus and node connections only when the player needs choices or navigation that the basic setup does not provide.
What do you need to create a stage?
PC availability and minimum specifications
HoYoverse’s Help Center says the Stage Editor and Miliastra Sandbox are currently PC-only. Its requirements article, updated November 11, 2025, lists these minimum PC specifications:
- Windows 10 64-bit or Windows 11 64-bit
- 10th Generation Intel Core i5, an AMD Ryzen-series CPU, or equivalent
- 16 GB RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or equivalent
- DirectX 11
- An SSD
These are publisher-listed minimums, not recommended specifications or a promise of smooth performance. HoYoverse warns that a system below them may experience performance problems, frame-rate drops, instability or crashes. Start with a small, testable idea
Choose one player goal and build only what supports it. An obstacle course needs a route and a finish; a short combat stage needs an encounter and a clear endpoint. A focused first project makes it easier to see whether the layout and interactions work before you add more content.
How do you create a Miliastra Wonderland stage?
The official interface guide identifies several distinct work areas. They are different ways to build, not competing products; choose the tool that fits the part of your stage you are working on. The menu labels and layout may change, so use the names and prompts shown in your current client.
Shape the environment with Terrain Editing
Use Terrain Editing to form the space players move through. For an early draft, focus on the route, visibility and places where a player might get stuck. A simple, legible layout is more useful for testing than a large scene with no clear direction.

Place objects with Entity Placement
Entity Placement is for adding objects, loot and other creations to the scene. Use it to make the objective visible and to give players the things they need to interact with or overcome. Check the stage from the player’s perspective in Test Play instead of assuming that an object is easy to see just because it is obvious in the editor.

The Prefab Library supports reusable object groupings. Prefabs can help when you want to repeat a structure or keep related objects together; terrain editing is the more direct choice when the shape of the environment itself needs work.
Set up encounters with Combat Presets
Combat Presets expose player templates, classes, unit status, skills, projectiles and items. They provide a route to more tailored combat than simply placing objects in a scene. If your stage is not about fighting, you may not need to configure these systems at all.

Add menus and interactions when the stage needs them
For a stage with choices, help screens or several destinations, UI Control Groups and floating pages can organize the interface. Node graphs can connect those interface elements to actions such as opening a menu, entering a stage, changing pages or closing the interface. The Luna III update notes also describe a Wonderland Resource Center for uploading and managing assets, and for downloading and importing prefabs and assets, with like and favorite functions. The official interface guide lists saving progress, Test Play, Multiplayer Test Play and stage upload among the system-menu functions. It does not establish every current upload validation rule or the exact sequence of screens, so follow the prompts shown in your version rather than relying on an old click-by-click path.

- Run Test Play. Check that the main objective is understandable, the route works and the stage can be completed. Fix problems you encounter, then test again.
- Use Multiplayer Test Play if needed. If the experience is intended for multiple players, test the interactions and flow with others rather than assuming a solo test covers multiplayer behavior.
- Upload from the system menu. Select the stage-upload function and satisfy the requirements displayed by the current client. The available documentation does not establish all present validation criteria.

How do you play someone else’s Wonderland game?
Published stages are content for players to explore through Miliastra Wonderland. The available official interface material confirms creator-side testing and upload, but does not document a complete, current player-side click path for browsing or entering a particular stage. Open Wonderland in your current game client and follow its discovery, lobby or shared-stage prompts. Menu names, availability and entry requirements should be taken from the live client rather than inferred from the creator guide.
Does making a stage pay creators?
A Version 6.1 stream-summary post describes an Inspiration Incentive Plan tied to stage play data. That mention alone does not establish whether the program is currently open, who is eligible, which regions it covers or how rewards are calculated.
