The sources identify the branch names and broad choice, but do not provide enough current detail to promise that one pays more. Compare the reward displayed in-game and consider which vendor’s progression you want; do not rely on old payout claims without checking your build.

MADFINGER Games said the Spearhead/0.4 update rebalanced task rewards to emphasize money over items, giving players more flexibility in progression. The official notes do not state the present payout for the drug shipment task specifically. See the March 18, 2026 official devlog and the March 31, 2026 official changelog.
Trade items with vendors
The same official 0.4 material says tasks and trading items earn vendor reputation. Reputation contributes to unlocking regions, harder and more rewarding tasks, and better equipment. That makes item trading useful for progression as well as for converting eligible items into money; the official material cited here does not establish a drug-specific resale loop.

Check loot value and task needs

The official economy information cited here is from the March 2026 Spearhead/0.4 update. It supports money-focused task rewards and vendor reputation from tasks and item trading, but it does not give current payouts for this particular quest. Later changes to drug-related mechanics were not established by these sources, so they cannot confirm whether a newer build has added or changed a repeatable drug production, smuggling, or sale system. Avoid treating the absence of such a system in these references as proof that none exists in the live build.
