Hold Ctrl, left-click the Questie tracker, and drag it to a clear spot on your screen. Questie’s official FAQ lists this shortcut for moving the tracker; it does not require TomTom or any additional hardware.
Move the Questie tracker
- Find the Questie tracker on your screen.
- Hold Ctrl and left-click the tracker.
- Keep holding the mouse button while you drag the tracker to your preferred position, then release it.
The shortcut is documented in the Questie FAQ under “How do I move the quest tracker.” Questie is a World of Warcraft Classic add-on that displays available quests and objective locations, according to the Questie wiki.
Choose a position that works with your interface
There is no universally correct location. Place the tracker where you can read it while playing, without covering important interface elements or the part of the game world you need to see. Adjust it to suit your screen layout and other interface add-ons.
If the tracker will not move or is misplaced
- Make sure you are holding Ctrl while you left-click and drag the tracker.
- Look in Questie’s tracker settings for a position-reset control if the tracker has ended up somewhere inconvenient. Its exact wording may differ between versions.
- If the controls do not match your installed version, consult the Questie releases and the current FAQ for version-specific guidance. The FAQ also recommends general troubleshooting with a current version.
Do you need TomTom?
No. TomTom is an optional add-on that can provide an arrow pointing toward objectives; it is not needed to reposition the Questie tracker. Questie describes the optional integration in its wiki and official repository.
