To open the Pyromancer’s Chest in Dawnshore, find the Pyromancer’s Key beside the crazed pyromancer’s remains on the ridge overlooking Berath’s Gateway graveyard, then return to the camp near the graveyard and unlock the chest.
Where to find the Pyromancer’s Chest
The chest is in a small camp in western Ivona’s Threshold, in Dawnshore, near Berath’s Gateway and the Old Pargrun Wall. It is close to the graveyard entrance. Look around the camp for the locked chest and the Scorched Journal, which hints that the key is on a ridge overlooking the camp.
How to reach the Pyromancer’s Key
-
From the camp, go through Berath’s Gateway and head into the graveyard.
-
Follow the route uphill toward the ridge. The wooden bridge and the passage through the rocks are useful landmarks. One reported route crosses the cemetery, takes the left-hand path, climbs a ledge beneath the wooden bridge, passes a Xaurip camp, and then loops back up past the bridge. Exact turns may vary depending on where you start.

What the chest contains
Reported contents include coins, the Grimoire of Embers, the Grimoire of Elements, grenades, and upgrade materials. The guides do not establish a consistent quantity for each reward, so the exact contents may vary or be reported differently. Anextli’s Grimoire is found at the pyromancer’s remains, not inside the chest.
