The Rise of Midas Cup was a Fortnite Solo tournament scheduled for March 24, 2024. It has ended, so you cannot enter it now. At the time, players found their regional session in the in-game Compete tab, selected the Cup, and played up to ten matches during a roughly three-hour window.
Can you still enter the Rise of Midas Cup?
No. Epic scheduled the Cup for March 24, 2024, and its official rules and announcement describe a past event. The steps below explain how participation worked then; they are not current sign-up instructions. Epic’s official rules and event announcement do not establish that the Cup remains listed or playable.

How entry worked
The tournament used Solo Battle Royale settings and was open across platforms. Each regional session lasted approximately three hours, with a limit of ten matches per player. Only matches that began before the session closed counted.

- Meet the eligibility requirements. The formal rules set out age, account, and other participation conditions.
- Check your region’s session time. Epic directed players to the in-game Compete tab for regional timing.
- Select the Cup and compete in your chosen region. The event was Solo, so each player competed individually.
- Start matches before the session ends. A match had to begin within the open event window to count; players could play no more than ten matches in the session.
Epic warned that participating in a region during any competitive event in Chapter 5 Season 2 locked a player to that region for subsequent sessions and future events in that season. Session timing was regional, so the Compete tab was the source for a player’s local event window. Epic’s announcement

Who was eligible?
Epic’s formal rules required participants to meet all of the following conditions:
- Be at least 13 years old, or older if local law required it.
- Not use a Cabined Account.
- Enable two-factor authentication (2FA).
- Comply with Epic’s terms and have an account in good standing, registered to the player and not transferred.
- Have an Account Level of at least 50, according to the formal rules.
The rules also excluded Epic personnel and certain related people, as well as people in places where participation was prohibited by law or U.S. law. Player names had to comply with Epic’s requirements, and Epic reserved the right to restrict or change names. Epic’s official rules

The Account Level requirement differed between Epic’s sources
The formal rules specified Account Level 50 or above, while Epic’s event announcement said Level 15 or above. Those thresholds conflict; they should not be treated as interchangeable. Players earned two points for each elimination, plus placement points for their best finish in a match as follows. These were the event’s published rules, not a current tournament scoring system. Epic’s official rules

If players tied, Epic’s rules used these tiebreakers in order:
- Total points.
- Total Victory Royales.
- Average eliminations.
- Average placement per match.
- Total seconds survived.
What rewards could players earn?
Epic listed leaderboard cosmetics whose qualifying rank varied by region, plus a loading screen awarded at eight points. The rewards were digital in-game items, not physical products. Epic’s official rules

Players who earned at least eight points were also set to receive The Rise of Midas loading screen with the release of v29.10, according to Epic’s announcement. The leaderboard rank needed for the other cosmetics depended on region, so there was no single global cutoff. Epic’s announcement
