Windows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallOutdated Drivers Are Slowing You Down
One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchTo paste a loaded Litematica schematic into your world, create a placement, switch to Creative mode, select Paste schematic in world, check that the intended placement is active, then run executeOperation. In single-player this pastes directly into the integrated world. On a multiplayer server, it uses permitted server commands, so the result and available data restoration can differ.
Paste a schematic step by step
- Put the file in the schematics folder. Place the schematic file in
.minecraft/schematics/. - Load it and create a placement. Press
Mto open the Litematica menu, choose Load Schematics, select the file, and load it. Leave Create a placement checked if the option appears. If you loaded the schematic without creating one, open Loaded Schematics and create a placement there. - Switch to Creative mode. Litematica’s whole-schematic paste operation is Creative-only.
- Choose the paste tool mode. Select Paste schematic in world from the Litematica menu. Alternatively, hold the enabled tool item and use
Ctrlplus the mouse wheel to cycle tool modes. Check that the tool HUD is visible; it identifies the active mode and placement. - Confirm the intended placement. The selected placement is outlined light cyan in the world, and its name appears in the tool HUD. You can also select it in Schematic Placements.
- Run the operation. Trigger the
executeOperationhotkey. By default, hold the configured tool item, with tool-item functionality and Litematica rendering enabled. If you do not want to hold the item, turn offGeneric→executeRequireHoldingTool.
Choose what the paste does to existing blocks
Before pasting into an occupied area, check Generic → pasteReplaceBehavior. The choice determines whether existing blocks are protected and whether air from the schematic clears space. The documented default cycling shortcut is Ctrl + M.
| Setting | Effect | Choose it when |
|---|---|---|
None |
Places schematic blocks only where the world currently has air. | You want to leave every existing non-air block untouched. |
With non-air |
Applies non-air schematic blocks; schematic air does not remove existing blocks. | You want to build the schematic over an area without clearing blocks where the schematic is empty. |
All |
Applies differing schematic blocks, including air; existing blocks can be cleared where the schematic contains air. | You want the result to reproduce the schematic’s empty spaces as well as its blocks. |
What changes between single-player and a server?
| Where you paste | How Litematica applies it | Important limits |
|---|---|---|
| Single-player | Litematica pastes directly into the integrated server’s world. | It can restore saved block-entity and entity NBT data and scheduled block ticks, subject to what the schematic contains. |
| Multiplayer server | Litematica issues commands rather than placing blocks as a normal player. | The server must permit the needed commands. Pasting is rate-limited and processed in chunks; NBT restoration is more limited than in single-player. |
Server permissions and command paths
The documented server command requirements are /setblock and /fill. In supported Litematica versions for Minecraft 1.18.x and later, permitted WorldEdit commands //pos1, //pos2, and //set can be used as an alternative. You do not necessarily have to be an operator if the server grants the required command-level permissions.
The pasteUseFillCommand option can combine continuous matching block-state regions into /fill commands. Litematica documents it as enabled by default starting with version 0.10.0 for Minecraft 1.18.1. WorldEdit mode uses more commands and is described as slower; pasteReplaceBehavior does not work with that path.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Block-entity data on servers
Do not assume that containers, entities, or other saved data will transfer exactly as they do in single-player. Server-side block-entity restoration needs the relevant NBT restore option and additional operations; the documented behavior excludes fill regions from that restoration.
If the paste does not start
- No placement is selected: load the schematic as a placement, then select it in Schematic Placements. Confirm its name appears in the tool HUD and its outline is light cyan.
- The operation hotkey appears to do nothing: confirm you are in Creative mode, the tool mode is Paste schematic in world, and the configured tool item is held if
executeRequireHoldingToolis enabled. - The tool HUD is missing: check that Litematica rendering is enabled and tool-item functionality is enabled; the HUD helps confirm the active mode and placement.
- A server rejects or stops the paste: check that the server permits the required commands. Server paste is chunked and rate-limited, so it may not behave like a single instant local operation.
- Existing blocks remain or disappear unexpectedly: review
pasteReplaceBehaviorbefore retrying. The choice controls how schematic blocks and air interact with existing world blocks.
Paste is not the same as Easy Place
Easy Place is a separate, player-assisted feature for placing blocks as you interact with a schematic, rather than issuing one whole-placement paste operation. In multiplayer, accurate orientation through Easy Place depends on server-side support and configuration.
