Choose what you want to remove

Uninstall BUFF on Windows
To remove BUFF without uninstalling the rest of Overwolf, use one of these routes:
- Open the Overwolf Dock, right-click BUFF, and choose the uninstall option.
- Find BUFF in the Overwolf Appstore and select Uninstall.
- Use Windows Add/Remove Programs to remove the individual BUFF app.
Overwolf advises that app data, including settings or recordings, may be removed when uninstalling an app. If you select Overwolf itself in Windows Add/Remove Programs instead, the whole Overwolf platform and its installed apps are removed. See Overwolf’s uninstall instructions.
Request termination of your BUFF profile
After uninstalling, submit a request through BUFF’s official contact form. Make clear that you want your BUFF profile and associated information terminated, not merely the desktop app removed. BUFF’s Website Terms of Use say that a termination request deactivates the profile and deletes information from BUFF’s systems except for information kept for archival purposes as described in its Privacy Policy. The terms do not establish that every record is erased immediately or without exception.

Delete your Overwolf account separately, if needed
BUFF profile termination and Overwolf account deletion are separate requests. If you also want to delete your Overwolf account, open Overwolf and select Settings > Personal Info > Delete your account, then confirm. The account must be verified. Overwolf holds the request through a two-week suspension period before permanent deletion; you can restore the account during that period. Details are in Overwolf’s account deletion instructions, modified July 19, 2026.
Remove BUFF on a phone or tablet
BUFF’s FAQ lists iOS and Android 7.0 or higher among its platforms, but the Overwolf Dock and Windows Add/Remove Programs instructions apply to the desktop app. On a mobile device, remove BUFF using the device’s app-management controls, then contact BUFF through its contact form if you want your profile terminated. Do not rely on inactivity to close your profile
BUFF’s terms say an account inactive for more than 90 days may be deleted or terminated after notice. The terms give the user seven days from delivery of that notice to request continued use. This inactivity provision is not a substitute for directly asking BUFF to terminate your profile. BUFF Website Terms of Use
