CODE VEIN II Early Access began on January 27, 2026. Bandai Namco Europe lists a 00:00 CET start for Deluxe, Ultimate and Collector’s Edition owners; Bandai Namco America’s announcement names Deluxe and Ultimate owners. The game has since launched, so these are historical access dates, not a way to start playing early now.
Who could play CODE VEIN II Early Access?
Early Access was tied to an eligible edition, not a separate trial. Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. said in its January 27, 2026 announcement that the game was available in Early Access to players who owned the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition. Bandai Namco Europe’s guide, published January 28, also includes the Collector’s Edition. These are different regional publisher descriptions; the US announcement does not name Collector’s Edition owners.

Bandai Namco Europe’s guide gives the Early Access start as January 27, 2026 at 00:00 CET. That is the stated Central European Time; the source does not provide a separate conversion for other time zones.

The published full-release timing differs by source and platform. Bandai Namco Europe’s guide lists January 30, 2026 at 00:00 CET as the global launch. Bandai Namco Studios lists January 29 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and January 30 for Steam. Keep those source-specific dates distinct rather than treating them as one universal local start time.

Platforms and what kind of game it is
CODE VEIN II is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The official console Standard and Ultimate product pages describe physical discs; the Ultimate listing also specifies a voucher for its upgrade content.
Bandai Namco describes the game as a standalone follow-up to CODE VEIN and a single-player action RPG. The story follows a Revenant Hunter and Lou, who can manipulate time, through past and present versions of a post-apocalyptic world. Official materials highlight customizable characters, weapons and abilities, alongside a partner system.
