The practical loop is to explore the city, find resources, weapons, and tools, and use what you gather to deal with obstacles, puzzles, and enemies. Titans are also part of the survival challenge: the game features Monarch technology and the ORCA Σ, a prototype inspired by that technology, for influencing Titan behavior.
How do the controls work on Switch?

How to approach combat
The official description says combat is challenging and that David faces human and monster enemies while scavenging weapons and tools. It does not document specific combos, dodge or block inputs, enemy weaknesses, weapon statistics, or combat timings. Check the in-game tutorial and controls display before trying an unfamiliar action.

Switch editions and play modes
Nintendo’s US storefront lists a digital Nintendo Switch edition with TV, tabletop, and handheld play modes, and one-player play on a single system. The US listing gives a file size of 1.8 GB and a release date of September 30, 2026. These are details of that regional storefront listing, not guarantees for every region. It names 7Levels as publisher and developer and lists the US rating descriptors Blood, Language, and Violence. Check your regional store for its current availability and details.
Meridiem’s product page also identifies a physical Nintendo Switch edition. The existence of that edition does not establish current retailer stock or price. Nintendo says the game is supported on Nintendo Switch 2 with behavior consistent with Nintendo Switch; it cautions that compatibility and play experience may differ on Switch Lite.
