To play Schedule I with friends, use the Steam lobby: the host opens the game, clicks the plus button in the main-menu lobby panel, and invites friends from their Steam friends list. Current guides describe a lobby of up to four players total—the host and three invitees. Once everyone has joined, start a new game or continue the host’s save.

How to invite friends to a Schedule I co-op game

  1. Connect on Steam. Make sure everyone can use Steam and add one another as Steam friends.
  2. Open the host’s game. The player whose game or save will host should launch Schedule I and reach the main menu.
  3. Open invitations. In the main-menu lobby panel, click the plus button to bring up the Steam friend invitation flow.
  4. Invite the group. Select and invite up to three friends. Current guides describe four players total, including the host; Steam’s official listing confirms online co-op but does not state a player cap. See the GamezServers guide for the current lobby instructions and GameSpot’s guide for a second account of the plus-button invitation flow.
  5. Start playing. When the invitees appear in the lobby, the host can start a new game or continue the host’s save.

What to expect from co-op

The host’s session runs the world

Current guides say the host needs to stay online for the world to run. Plan to play while the host is available; the sources reviewed do not establish that the world continues running after the host leaves.

It is online co-op on Steam

The official Steam listing for Schedule I identifies the game as Early Access and lists online co-op. The developer-authored store description says, “A growing empire needs skilled management. Reach new heights in co-op multiplayer.” The listing confirms the co-op feature, while the invite steps and four-player description above come from secondary guides.

Some multiplayer details remain unconfirmed

The sources reviewed do not confirm public matchmaking, cross-platform play, or an official dedicated-server feature. That is not proof those options can never be added; Schedule I is in Early Access, and its features and interface may change.

If an invitation does not work

Check that everyone is connected through Steam and that the host has opened the lobby invitation flow from the main menu. If the problem persists, use the game’s Steam Support page, which identifies the support provider and points players toward support resources and Steam community discussions. No specific fix for failed invitations or loading issues is established in the sources cited here, so avoid relying on an unverified workaround.
