Sifu is playable on phones and tablets through a native mobile edition for iOS and Android. The mobile release includes the complete story campaign, touch controls designed for mobile, a reworked camera system, enhanced contextual interactions, and full controller support. A second option is Steam Link, which streams the PC version from a computer running Steam; it does not install Sifu locally on your phone.
The important limitation is device information: the available official listing does not publish a complete iPhone model list, Android model list, chipset requirement, RAM requirement, or native-game minimum operating-system version. Check the current App Store or Google Play page on your own device before buying or downloading.

Is Sifu available on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Sifu has a native mobile edition for both iOS and Android. An official Sifu Steam Community announcement dated 1 October stated that “SIFU Mobile is launching on IOS & Android on October 12th!” The announcement linked readers to the relevant mobile storefronts, while the Google Play listing describes the game as a mobile adaptation rather than a remote-play client.
The Google Play page reviewed for this guide showed an update date of 9 October 2026. Store listings can change by country, device, or storefront account, so that date should not be treated as a guarantee that every player sees the same page or availability.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
The native edition is the route to choose when you want Sifu installed on the phone or tablet itself. It contains the complete story campaign according to the official listing. The listing also specifically promises mobile-focused touch controls, enhanced contextual interactions, a reworked camera system, and full controller support.

The two ways to play Sifu on a mobile device
There are two fundamentally different setups. One runs the mobile edition locally; the other sends a game running on a PC to your phone or tablet.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
| Option | Where Sifu runs | Host computer required? | Input | Requirements that are documented |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Native mobile edition | On the iOS or Android device | No | Mobile touch controls and full controller support are stated in the official listing | Use the local App Store or Google Play compatibility result; exact native model and OS requirements are not published in the retrieved listing |
| Steam Link | On a computer running Steam, with video and audio streamed to the mobile device | Yes | Input is sent from the phone, tablet, or a paired controller back to the host computer | Valve lists Steam Link for iOS 11.0 or later and Android 5.0 or later; these are app requirements, not Sifu mobile requirements |
The choice is therefore not simply “touch versus controller.” It is also local installation versus PC streaming, and a native storefront check versus Steam Link’s separate app and host-PC requirements.
How to install the native mobile edition
The exact buttons and purchase flow can vary between countries and between iOS and Android, but the practical process is straightforward.
Rank #2
- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
- Open the official App Store on iPhone or iPad, or Google Play on an Android phone or tablet.
- Search for Sifu and verify that the result is the official mobile listing. On Android, the listing URL supplied by the publisher is this Google Play page.
- Read the listing’s device-compatibility message on the exact handset or tablet you plan to use. A listing that appears on one device or in one country may not appear for another.
- Review the current store page for the edition, age rating, permissions, and any download information shown for your region.
- Install the app, then launch it from the device. The native version is the one that presents the mobile touch interface; Steam Link is a separate app and will not be the same installation.
The official materials establish the platforms and mobile features, but they do not establish a universal price, offline policy, cross-save behavior, or a single worldwide availability date beyond the announced 12 October launch statement. Treat those items as storefront-specific rather than assuming that a page in another country has identical terms.
Supported devices: what is confirmed and what is not
The strongest confirmed compatibility statement is platform-level: Sifu is offered as a mobile title for iOS and Android. The retrieved Google Play text does not expose a complete Android model list, minimum Android version, chipset tier, RAM requirement, or other hardware threshold. The official announcement likewise confirms the two operating-system families but does not provide a model-by-model table.
| Device question | What the official material establishes | How to verify it yourself |
|---|---|---|
| Does an iPhone or iPad support the native game? | The game has an iOS edition, but no complete iPhone or iPad generation list is given. | Open the current App Store listing on the specific device and check whether the store allows installation. |
| Does an Android phone or tablet support it? | The game has an Android edition, but the retrieved listing does not state a complete model, chipset, RAM, or minimum Android-version list. | Open Google Play on that handset or tablet and read the compatibility result for the local account and region. |
| Is a particular country supported? | Regional availability is not established for every country. | Search the local storefront while signed into the account and region that will be used for the download. |
| Can Steam Link run on the device? | Valve lists the Steam Link app for iOS 11.0+ and Android 5.0+. | Check the Steam Link app listing and the current Valve support page for the exact device. |
Do not use Steam Link’s iOS 11.0 or Android 5.0 figures as native Sifu requirements. They describe whether the streaming app can be installed, not whether the mobile Sifu port can run on that hardware.
A reliable compatibility check
- Check the store page directly from the intended phone or tablet, not only from a desktop browser.
- Confirm that the listing identifies the mobile Sifu release rather than a PC page or a streaming utility.
- Look for a store message such as unavailable, incompatible, or not offered in your country before completing a purchase.
- After installation, check the listing again when an update is offered; compatibility can change as the app and operating system are updated.
- If the store does not reveal a technical requirement, do not infer one from another device, from the PC version, or from Steam Link.
Native mobile controls
The official Google Play description says: “Experience Sifu on the go with new touch controls designed specifically for mobile devices, enhanced contextual interactions, a reworked camera system, and full controller support.” That is the authoritative description of the mobile control approach.
Touch controls
Touch input is part of the native adaptation, so a separate gamepad is optional rather than a stated prerequisite. The listing confirms that touch controls were designed for mobile devices, but the retrieved text does not publish a complete control diagram or a control-by-control mapping.

- Travel Must-Have for People On the Go: A must-have travel accessory for flights, flying, airports, air travel, airplanes, planes, international trips, cruises, and long travel days. Key gadget for your airport haul, travel accessories and must-haves.
Because no official mapping is exposed in the available listing text, you should not rely on a claimed gesture layout from an unrelated guide. The on-screen arrangement, prompts, and contextual actions should be read from the game after installation and may change with updates or device aspect ratio.
Physical controllers
The native listing states full controller support. That confirms controller input as a supported feature of the mobile edition, but it does not certify every Bluetooth, USB, or telescopic controller model. Pair the controller with the phone or tablet through the operating system, then check whether Sifu recognizes it in the game.
If a particular accessory is important to your purchase decision, verify compatibility for that exact handset, operating-system version, controller variant, and native game listing. A controller named by Valve for Steam Link is not automatically confirmed for the native Sifu app.
Playing the PC version with Steam Link
Steam Link is an alternative for people who already have Sifu running on a computer through Steam. Valve describes Remote Play as sending the host computer’s video and audio to another device and returning input to the host. The computer still runs the game; the phone or tablet acts as the display and input endpoint.
That makes Steam Link PC remote play, not a native mobile installation. It requires access to a host computer running Steam and a network connection capable of carrying the stream. It is useful when the native mobile listing is unavailable for your device or region, but it does not remove the need to own or access the PC setup.

Steam Link setup
- Install the Steam Link app on the iOS or Android phone or tablet.
- Prepare the computer that will run Sifu and Steam. The host computer is where the game is launched and rendered.
- Open Steam Link and follow its pairing process to connect the mobile device to the host computer.
- Choose Sifu from the Steam library presented by the host.
- Use touch input or a controller recognized by Steam Link, then start the stream.
The exact pairing screens can change as Valve updates the app. For current platform guidance, consult Steam Remote Play.
Steam Link operating-system requirements
| Steam Link target | Version stated by Valve | What the number means |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone, iPad, or other supported iOS device | iOS 11.0 or later | Minimum listed for the Steam Link app, not for native Sifu |
| Android phone or tablet | Android 5.0 or later | Minimum listed for the Steam Link app, not for native Sifu |
| DualShock 4 with iOS or tvOS | iOS/tvOS 13 or later | Controller-support detail for Steam Link, not the native game |
| DualShock 4 with Android | Android 9.0 or later | Controller-support detail for Steam Link, not the native game |
Valve’s support pages list examples of controllers that can be used with Steam Link. On iOS, the examples include MFi controllers, Xbox One S controllers, DualShock 4 on iOS or tvOS 13 and later, and Razer Kishi. On Android, the examples include Xbox One S, DualShock 4 on Android 9.0 and later, Razer Kishi, and Raiju Mobile.
These examples describe Steam Link support. They are not a compatibility list for the native Sifu mobile edition, and they are not an exhaustive list of every controller that may work.
Native Sifu or Steam Link: which route fits?
| Choose the native mobile edition if you… | Choose Steam Link if you… |
|---|---|
| Want Sifu installed directly on the phone or tablet. | Have a computer running Steam and want to access its PC installation remotely. |
| Want the mobile adaptation’s touch interface and reworked camera. | Want the PC game streamed to a mobile screen. |
| Do not have a suitable gaming PC available. | Already have the required host computer and network connection. |
| Can find the native listing and an installation-eligible device in your region. | Can install Steam Link and pair it with the host setup, even if the native listing is unavailable. |
Neither route has a universally confirmed list of supported phone models in the available official material. For native play, the storefront’s compatibility result is the decisive check. For streaming, check both Steam Link’s app support and the host computer’s ability to run the PC game.

The native game does not appear in search
First check that the storefront account is using the intended country and that you are searching for the mobile edition. Availability can differ by region. If the listing still does not appear, the official material does not provide enough information to identify whether the cause is country eligibility, device filtering, or another storefront condition; contact the relevant store or publisher support rather than assuming a particular phone model is supported.

The store says the device is incompatible
Use the store result for that exact handset or tablet as the practical answer. Do not substitute Steam Link’s iOS 11.0 or Android 5.0 requirements, and do not infer native eligibility from a different model with the same operating-system version.
Touch controls are not visible
Confirm that you installed the native Sifu mobile app rather than opening Sifu through Steam Link. The native listing is the source that promises mobile touch controls. Steam Link displays the PC game and therefore uses its own streaming input interface.
A controller does not work
Confirm that the controller is paired with the operating system and that you are testing the intended edition. Full controller support is stated for native Sifu, while Valve separately documents controller examples for Steam Link. A controller can be supported by Steam Link without being specifically verified for the native port, so check the exact combination if the game does not respond.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThe Steam Link stream will not start
Check the two halves of the setup separately: Steam Link must be installed on the mobile device, and the host computer must be running Steam with Sifu available to launch. Because Steam Link sends video and audio from the host and returns input over a network, a missing host connection or network interruption prevents the mobile session from functioning. This is a streaming problem, not evidence that the native mobile edition is unsupported.
Age rating and content note
The Google Play listing identifies the game as PEGI 16 with strong violence. The rating applies to the listed game and should be considered before installing it for a younger player.
What the official information does not establish
Several frequently asked questions cannot be answered definitively from the available official listings. There is no complete native iPhone-generation table, Android handset list, chipset or RAM minimum, universal native OS minimum, worldwide storefront schedule, or verified list of every compatible third-party controller. The material also does not establish native performance, latency, cross-save, offline play, or pricing for every region.
That is why the safest purchasing decision is device-specific: check the current local listing on the phone or tablet you intend to use, and distinguish that result from Steam Link’s separate app requirements.

Quick checklist before you play
- Decide whether you want a local mobile installation or PC streaming.
- For native play, check the Sifu listing in your own App Store or Google Play account.
- Confirm that the listing is available for your country and exact device.
- Expect touch controls in the native edition; a controller is optional because full controller support is stated.
- If using Steam Link, make sure a computer running Steam will host Sifu.
- Keep Steam Link’s iOS 11.0 and Android 5.0 figures separate from native Sifu compatibility.
- Check controller support for the exact edition and hardware combination rather than assuming that a Steam Link controller example applies natively.
