Which Starbucks scavenger hunt do you mean?
Start with the campaign name and country shown in the official Starbucks message or terms. A hunt may involve visiting a physical store, while another Starbucks promotion may be a virtual game. Their steps, eligibility, dates, and prizes are not interchangeable.

How the 2026 UK store hunt worked
This was a real-world promotion, not an app-based game. Starbucks UK’s terms limited entry to Great Britain residents aged 18 or over, with internet access and a valid Instagram account.
- Follow the clues in Starbucks UK Instagram Stories during the promotion, May 12–16, 2026.
- Work out which participating Starbucks store was featured that day. Two stores were featured each day across 10 selected stores.
- Check the store’s normal opening hours, then visit while it was open.
- Tell a staff member the exact phrase: “Make my summer with an Owala.” The terms say “no alternative wording or phrase will be accepted.”
The first 10 people at each featured store to complete the steps received an Owala FreeSip 24 oz bottle. Color was selected at random, the limit was one prize per person, and no prize remained available at a store after its 10 had been claimed. How the U.S. Starbucks for Life Merrython worked
Merrython was a separate seasonal Starbucks Rewards game, not the UK store hunt. For the December 8, 2025–January 4, 2026 campaign, Starbucks described a virtual 90-second run through a featured city.
- Visit Starbucksforlife.com and log in with a Starbucks Rewards account.
- Choose a city and avatar.
- Collect red holiday cups and complete sets of four featured menu items to earn bonus points.
- Use repeated runs to try to improve your score; the game also offered friend invites, a leaderboard, and result sharing.
Starbucks reported nearly 10 million prizes for that 2025–26 campaign. That was a historical campaign total, not a current prize pool. The game ended January 4, 2026. Read Starbucks’ Merrython announcement for its campaign description.

How to find a live Starbucks game
- Look for the specific campaign name and country in an official Starbucks app message, email, or campaign page.
- Check the promotion’s dates and terms before following instructions or traveling to a store.
- Use only the rules for that campaign. A past phrase, game flow, prize, or eligibility rule does not establish how a new promotion works.
