You can use TEKKEN 8’s Practice mode to build a feel for combo timing and movement through repeated inputs, with an important limit: Bandai Namco documents audio cues for button timing, not fully screen-free play. The Command List’s cues can help you learn a rhythm, while Combo Challenges and other on-screen feedback still rely on visuals. The official documentation does not establish that menus, opponents, or every combo result can be understood without looking.
What you can—and cannot—practice by sound
Bandai Namco describes Practice mode as a place to work on character-specific moves, combos, guaranteed counterattacks, and repeated situations. In the Command List, audio cues indicate optimal times to press buttons. The publisher puts it this way: “Additionally, there are audio cues for optimal timings to press the buttons, allowing you to practice in rhythm.”

That makes sound useful as a timing aid once you know what you are trying to do. It does not establish that every move, opponent action, menu choice, or success and failure state has an audio description. Combo Challenges, for example, visually mark accurate and inaccurate commands. Treat those features as visual diagnostics, not as a substitute for sight.
Build a repeatable combo drill
1. Start with one short sequence
Choose a short combo or a small portion of one rather than trying to retain a long command list at once. Open the character’s Command List in Practice mode and use its timing cue where available to get a sense of when the next button should land.

- Arcade Quest - In the new single-player mode ‘Arcade Quest’, players can create their own avatar and conquer their rivals in a variety of different arcades. This mode serves as an introduction to the gameplay of TEKKEN 8, allowing players to acquire basic knowledge, learn practical techniques, and enjoy a unique storyline and battles different from regular matches. .
2. Repeat the same inputs
Once you have the sequence in mind, perform it repeatedly without changing the drill. Focus on the order and timing of your inputs. If you lose consistency at a particular point, make that transition the next part to work on instead of restarting your learning from a much longer combo.
3. Isolate the difficult section
Bandai Namco documents a feature for saving a practice state so you can repeat a difficult situation. Its page gives Touchpad + R2 as the input for saving a state; check the control mapping for your platform rather than assuming that combination applies everywhere. Use the saved situation to work on the section where your execution breaks down.
4. Use Combo Challenge feedback selectively
Combo Challenges let you practice recommended aerial combos and visually show which commands were accurate or inaccurate. If you can use that visual feedback, it can help identify an input to revisit. After diagnosing the issue, return to deliberate repetitions of the specific sequence; the challenge feedback itself is not documented as an audio or nonvisual feature.

Practice movement as a tactile pattern
For movement, choose one small pattern and keep the drill consistent—for example, repeating the same directional inputs rather than mixing movement practice with a new combo. This is a practice approach, not a documented TEKKEN 8 feature that provides audio coaching for movement. The official timing-cue description concerns button timing and does not promise sound guidance for every directional input or movement result.
If you are practicing without watching continuously, decide what you can reliably detect by sound or controller feel and keep the drill within that boundary. The official sources reviewed do not establish that all movement outcomes or opponent responses are audibly communicated.

TEKKEN 8’s My Replays & Tips feature is described as a way to review replays, receive advice, and practice moments from a match. Use it as a follow-up loop: review a match when you can access its visual information, choose one advised situation, and then return to Practice mode to repeat the relevant scenario. The replay feature is a review aid; its description does not claim that the advice or replay is fully accessible without sight.

What this approach does not establish
Bandai Namco’s documentation supports audio timing cues in the Command List and repeatable training features. It does not say TEKKEN 8 menus can be navigated without vision, nor that the full game is playable without sight. Steam’s “Playable without Vision” category is a platform accessibility definition, not evidence that TEKKEN 8 meets it. A claim about screen-free setup or full gameplay would require platform-specific accessibility information or properly attributed hands-on testing.
The official TEKKEN 8 site lists PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC Digital as platforms. Controls and menu setup may differ by platform, so verify the relevant in-game control mapping before relying on a specific button combination.
