Where is Hunter’s March?
Hunter’s March is an area in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Team Cherry describes the game as a journey through an unfamiliar kingdom, with Hornet as its hunter protagonist: Team Cherry’s official game page. The studio’s release announcement says the game is available, and its Steam listing provides storefront corroboration.
The name is not unique to the game: it is also used for a tune and appears in a Smithsonian archival finding aid. In this article, “Hunter’s March” refers to the Silksong area.
How to get to Hunter’s March
- Go to the Marrow. Find the room near the prison described in the walkthrough.
- Defeat the large ant. The guide says this fight opens the path ahead.
- Continue through the newly accessible route. Traverse the short stretch beyond the fight to reach Hunter’s March.
This route is documented in the GameFAQs walkthrough by Nikoartemis, version 0.1.7, updated November 17, 2025. Its directions are third-party guidance and may not reflect later game updates.

What to expect in the first stretch
The walkthrough characterizes Hunter’s March as challenging early in the game. For the initial traversal, it describes striking shells attached to the ceiling to release shards, and using diagonal attacks on red fruits above spikes. In the first room, the fruits can help you climb onto a platform. The guide also notes a climb on the left that leads to a cage containing a flea.
