To reactivate the waterwheels in Arknights Endfield’s “Destination Wuling” mission, strike the fixtures in this order: first wheel, right twice then left once; second wheel, right once then left twice; third wheel, defeat the Aggeloi, then hit each of the two fixtures twice. The third wheel opens the gate toward Tangtang and Wuling City.
Where to find the Destination Wuling waterwheels
“Destination Wuling” is a Chapter 2, Process 1 mission in Jingyu Valley. It follows “Stumbling Into Qingbo Stockade.” The route takes you across three waterwheel stations, with an Aggeloi encounter before the final one. The fixtures redirect the water flow and rotate their structures one step with each hit.
Reactivate the first waterwheel
- Continue over the wooden bridges until you reach the first pair of fixtures.
- Using the direction you face as you approach them, hit the right fixture twice.
- Hit the left fixture once.
Reactivate the second waterwheel
- Continue to the next pair of fixtures by the raised bridge.
- From your approach, hit the right fixture once.
- Hit the left fixture twice. This aligns the flow and lowers the next bridge.
Reactivate the third waterwheel
- Head north until Aggeloi block the route, then defeat them.
- Hit the fixture beside the group twice.
- Go north to the next fixture and hit it twice.
Activating this wheel opens the gate. The walkthroughs agree on the sequences and progression: PowerPyx’s Destination Wuling walkthrough and GameWith’s Destination Wuling walkthrough.
Continue toward Wuling City
Follow the route northwest to Tangtang and speak with her, then continue through the opened gate toward Wuling City. The water facilities serve transport and irrigation infrastructure, as reflected in the quest dialogue listed by the END Wiki’s Destination Wuling quest page.
