The instructions below apply to Battlefield 6’s 2025 Open Beta, whose Early Access and public play dates have passed. At the time, players redeemed a code through EA’s Battlefield code redemption page while signed in to the EA Account they wanted to use, then made sure their target platform account was linked to that EA Account. EA said an Early Access key worked on any platform linked to the account.
How do I redeem a Battlefield 6 beta code?
For the 2025 Open Beta, EA’s process was account-based. Use the EA Account that should receive access, redeem the code on EA’s Battlefield code redemption page, and link the platform account you intended to play on to that same EA Account.
- Get an eligible code, such as one distributed through a creator giveaway or Twitch Drop.
- Sign in to the EA Account that should receive Early Access.
- Open EA’s Battlefield code redemption page and enter the code.
- Check that the platform account you plan to use is linked to that EA Account.
- During the event, download the Open Beta from your chosen platform when it became available. EA Help listed August 4, 2025, at 15:00 UTC as the download availability time; that date has passed.
EA Help stated that an Early Access key worked on any platform linked to the EA Account. Its listed platforms for the 2025 beta were PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, or the EA app.
Where do I enter my Battlefield 6 code?
Enter it through EA’s official Battlefield code redemption page, while signed in to the EA Account you want associated with access. A platform store was not the redemption route EA described for these Early Access codes; the platform account needed to be linked to the EA Account.

What did “Base game required” mean?
EA Help said this message could appear during redemption and was intended to ensure the Open Beta download would be available on the player’s platform when it became available. It did not mean players had to buy the full game to redeem the 2025 Open Beta Early Access key. For account-access issues or other code errors, use EA Help’s Battlefield 6 support options.
Who qualified for Early Access, and when?
EA announced multiple ways into the 2025 beta. The eligibility route mattered: some players did not need a code, while others could earn or receive one.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Can you still redeem a code for the 2025 beta?
No. The 2025 Early Access and public Open Beta dates have passed, so redeeming a code now cannot provide access to that event. These steps describe EA’s historical process, not a way to join Battlefield 6’s beta today. If you have a code for a different or later Battlefield event, check that event’s current official instructions and redemption page rather than assuming the 2025 process or schedule still applies.
