Report an abusive player from the ARC Raiders Lobby by opening Social in the bottom-right corner, selecting Recent, choosing the player’s name, then selecting Report. Pick the closest reason, add a short factual description, and submit it. Version 1.29.0 also added block-after-report and exposes report, mute, and block actions on squad name plates at the end of a round.
The fastest response depends on what you need
ARC Raiders gives you three different ways to respond to bad behavior. A report sends information to Embark for investigation. A mute stops the player’s voice communication reaching you. A block is the strongest immediate contact control available in the social interface. You can use them separately or together.

If the behavior is happening in a match, use the in-game tools first. If you need immediate quiet, mute before writing the report. If you do not want more contact, block after reporting or use the block action shown on the player’s name plate.

Embark identifies the in-game menu as the best reporting route because it attaches the report to the relevant player and match context. Follow this sequence after returning to the Lobby:

- Return to the ARC Raiders Lobby.
- Select Social in the bottom-right corner.
- Open the Recent tab.
- Find and select the abusive player’s name.
- Choose Report.
- Select the reason that most closely matches what happened.
- Add a short, factual description and submit the report.
What to put in the description
Write enough detail for a reviewer to understand the incident without guessing. Include what happened, when it happened, and any identifying context that was visible during the match. A useful description identifies the behavior rather than expressing only anger or suspicion.
- Describe the words or conduct that caused the problem, using neutral language.
- State whether the incident occurred in voice chat, text chat, gameplay, or at the end of the round.
- Include an approximate point in the match, such as the opening fight, extraction, or final minutes.
- Explain any repeated behavior, such as continuing harassment after you asked the player to stop.
- Distinguish what you directly observed from what you inferred.
Do not write that someone is definitely cheating when you only saw unusually accurate shots or suspicious movement. Report the observable actions and let Embark investigate the underlying cause. A concise description of facts is more useful than a long argument about the player’s intent.
How to mute or block someone
End-of-round name-plate actions
Version 1.29.0 added social actions to the end-of-round view. Selecting a squad member’s name plate exposes Report, Mute, and Block. Use the on-screen prompt for your platform; the published notes do not specify universal keyboard or controller bindings.
Block after reporting
The same 1.29.0 social update added an option to block a player after you submit a report. This is useful when you want Embark to receive the incident but do not want to keep interacting with the person. Complete the report first so the description and reason are attached, then choose the offered block action.
Mute for immediate relief
Mute is the quickest response to hostile voice chat because it changes what you hear without waiting for a review. It does not tell Embark what happened and does not replace a report when the behavior violates the rules. If the player keeps communicating through another channel, use the available block action as well.

Which behavior can be reported?
Embark’s enforcement policy lists several categories that can lead to a ban. The list includes abusive behavior, hate speech, harassment, and stream sniping. It also covers cheating, exploit abuse, account boosting or farming, account sharing or selling, and trading items for anything of value.
Harassment and abusive behavior
Harassment includes targeted conduct that makes the match hostile or unsafe, especially when it is repeated or directed at a player because of a personal characteristic. Include the exact type of conduct and whether it continued over multiple interactions. You do not need to determine the final policy category yourself; choose the closest reason and explain the facts.
Hate speech
When a player uses slurs, threats, or demeaning language aimed at a protected characteristic, record the context in the description. You can paraphrase instead of repeating offensive language, while still identifying that the content was discriminatory. Mute immediately if you do not want to hear more.
Cheating and exploits
Report what you saw: impossible movement, repeated actions that appear outside normal game behavior, or use of a known exploit. Avoid presenting a conclusion as proof. Embark’s investigators and anti-cheat systems determine whether the behavior violated the rules.
Stream sniping and account abuse
Stream sniping, boosting or farming, account sharing or selling, and trading items for anything of value are also listed in the enforcement policy. State the evidence visible to you, such as a player repeatedly appearing at a streamer’s known location or an unusual coordinated account pattern. Do not include private information that is unrelated to the incident.

What happens after you submit a report?
A report is an investigation signal, not an automatic punishment. Embark says that all reports are reviewed and verified before action is taken. The review process means a player is not banned merely because other players submit a large number of reports about the account.

Embark states that mass reporting alone cannot ban someone. A group of reports can draw attention to an incident, but reviewers still evaluate the underlying behavior and available evidence. Submitting repeated reports for the same event, coordinating false reports, or exaggerating what happened does not turn an unverified accusation into proof.
Possible sanctions
Penalties can be temporary or permanent, depending on the severity and circumstances. In serious cases, enforcement can extend across Embark titles. The policy also allows hardware bans; Embark describes those bans as final and non-appealable. Because the outcome depends on the investigation, you should not promise another player that a ban will occur or demand a particular penalty in your description.
Why a report may not produce a visible result
Embark may not disclose the evidence, internal review, or action taken against another account. A lack of a notification does not prove that the report was ignored. Submit one accurate report, preserve any details you still have, and use mute or block for your own immediate protection.

Voice abuse can escalate quickly, so separate immediate safety from later reporting.

- Mute the speaker. Use the mute option shown in the social or end-of-round interface so the abusive voice no longer reaches you.
- Leave the argument. Do not trade insults or make threats. A response can obscure which conduct began the incident.
- Note the context. Remember the player’s name, the stage of the match, and the words or behavior that mattered.
- Report through Social > Recent. Select the player, choose the closest reason, and provide the factual description.
- Block if further contact is unwanted. Use the post-report option or the block action on the relevant name plate.
If the voice channel contains a credible real-world threat, preserve the information available to you and consider contacting the appropriate local authority. The in-game report handles game-rule enforcement; it is not an emergency service.
When the problem is outside ARC Raiders
Embark says it does not moderate off-platform discussions or content. If the abuse occurs on a social network, streaming service, community server, or another chat platform, use that service’s own report and block controls. Include the original post, message, clip, or account identifier when the platform allows attachments.
You can still use ARC Raiders’ tools for related in-game conduct, but an in-game report cannot make the external service remove content or suspend its account. Keep the scope clear: Embark handles conduct in its game, while the host platform handles content published there.

A report itself is not a finding of guilt. Embark says reports are reviewed and verified before action. If the review results in a ban and you believe it was a mistake, use the official support process rather than trying to contest it in match chat.

- Open Embark Support and log in with your Embark ID.
- Click the chat bubble.
- Choose Ban Appeals > In-Game Ban.
- Include the enforcement message and the relevant context for your appeal.
Embark’s fair-play guidance says every ban appeal is reviewed by a person on its team. Explain the situation clearly, provide any information requested by support, and avoid submitting multiple versions of the same appeal.

How ARC Raiders approaches cheating reports
Embark describes its anti-cheat stack as a combination of Easy Anti-Cheat kernel-level protection and machine-learning models trained on a constant flow of player telemetry. It also says it is working with Anybrain and refining its systems to distinguish legitimate accessibility-device use from abuse.
This matters when you report suspicious play: your observation is one input into a broader review. Unusual performance can have legitimate explanations, and accessibility hardware should not be treated as cheating solely because it looks unfamiliar. Describe the actions and circumstances you observed so the review can account for those possibilities.
Troubleshooting the reporting menu
The player is not in Recent
Return fully to the ARC Raiders Lobby and open Social again before checking the Recent tab. The reporting flow relies on the recent-player list; selecting a name from the correct session is important for attaching the report to the right account.

Choose the closest available reason and explain the mismatch in the description. For example, if the problem combines harassment and abusive voice chat, select the category that best reflects the main violation and describe the second behavior in plain language.
The menu looks different
Social features can change between versions and platforms. Version 1.29.0 specifically added block-after-report and end-of-round report, mute, and block actions. Follow the labels and on-screen prompts currently shown in your build rather than relying on a remembered button combination.
You left the match before acting
Use the Lobby’s Social menu and Recent tab as soon as practical. Select the player from that list and submit the report with the details you remember. If the player is no longer listed, use the support route only when you have a separate, support-related issue; do not invent an account name or guess at an identity.
