The practical order is therefore tutorial → codes → Lumens → technique banner → build check. Codes and tier rankings change, so verify both in the game and against the latest official references before committing resources.
What “rerolling” means in Jujutsu Zero
In this game, rerolling is not a separate reset button documented by the official references. It means repeatedly using the cursed-technique gacha until the result is a technique you want to play. Lumens are the currency used for those banner attempts. The technique entry for Ten Shadows identifies technique gacha as its obtainment route and labels it “rarity 6,” confirming that techniques are acquired through the gacha system rather than through a normal equipment drop.
Your first objective is to create a pool of Lumens without spending time searching for a hidden reroll option. The beginner guide says the tutorial unlocks the Codes menu, and the Codes reference lists active rewards that include Lumens. Once the menu is available and a code is accepted, use the resulting Lumens on the cursed-technique banner. The game’s exact menu wording can change with patches, so follow the current labels shown in your client.
Unlock the Codes menu first
1. Complete the tutorial mission
Start a new character and complete the beginner tutorial from beginning to end. According to the beginner guide, the tutorial teaches the basic controls and, importantly, unlocks the Codes menu. Codes remain locked until this requirement is met.
- Enter the game and follow the tutorial objectives.
- Finish the mission rather than leaving partway through.
- Open the main interface after the completion message and look for Codes.
If the Codes button is not visible, treat that as an unlock problem first. Re-enter the tutorial area, confirm that its final objective is complete, and then reopen the main menu. Do not spend time trying to redeem codes from an external page; redemption takes place inside the game.

2. Redeem a code in the in-game menu
The official instructions are: click an active code to copy it, open Jujutsu Zero, open the Codes menu, paste the code and redeem it. Enter one code at a time, submit it, and check for the game’s confirmation and the corresponding currency increase before moving to the next code.

The largest Lumens reward in that dated list is the 10,000 Lumens attached to CALAMITY. The other currencies are useful for their own systems, but the reroll resource you are targeting is Lumens.
3. Confirm that the rewards arrived
- Check the spelling and capitalization before submitting.
- Wait for the in-game success or failure message.
- Check your Lumens balance after each accepted code.
- If a code is rejected, check the current Codes reference and the game’s own announcement channels rather than repeatedly submitting the same text.
A failed redemption does not prove that your account is blocked. It can mean the code expired, the code was entered incorrectly, or the game’s active list changed. The dated list is a snapshot, not a permanent guarantee.
Spend Lumens on the cursed-technique banner
1. Open the technique-gacha screen
After your Lumens are credited, open the game’s summon or gacha interface and select the banner identified as the cursed-technique banner. The available documentation establishes that technique gacha is the route for obtaining techniques; it does not publish a universal menu path or guarantee that the button name will remain identical after a patch.
2. Make a pull
Choose the pull control and confirm the expenditure shown by the current client. The result is one technique-gacha attempt. If the result is not suitable for your character, continue with another pull while you still have Lumens.
3. Stop when the result fits your plan
There is no need to chase a particular name solely because it is popular. Stop when the technique’s current tier placement, combat role and progression options fit the way you intend to play. If you are undecided, preserve your remaining Lumens until you have checked the technique description and your clan choice instead of spending everything immediately.

Pull costs, pity and odds: what is not published
The available references do not state the Lumens cost of a single pull, the price of a multi-pull, a pity threshold, the probability of each technique, or a guaranteed-reroll mechanic. Do not copy a number from another Roblox game or assume that a rarity label translates to a known percentage.
That uncertainty changes how you should budget:
- Use only the pull cost displayed in your current game client.
- Do not promise yourself a result after a fixed number of attempts.
- Do not treat the EX, S+ or A labels as published drop rates; they are tier-list rankings, not gacha probabilities.
- Keep a record of your Lumens before and after a pull if you are trying to understand the live interface, but regard your own count as an observation for your account, not an official rate.
If a later patch adds a pity meter or publishes odds, those rules should replace this cautious approach. Until then, the only supported description is repeated banner pulls purchased with Lumens.

Which Cursed Technique should you keep?
The dated official technique tier list, updated August 11, 2026, ranks 20 techniques. Its placements are a useful starting point, not a permanent answer: balance patches can move a technique up or down, and a tier ranking does not account for every clan, role or mastery route.

The table intentionally describes tier placement rather than claiming a universal best technique. The list contains 20 ranked techniques, while the entries above are the named placements relevant to the reroll guidance. The beginner guide uses Limitless, Malevolent Shrine and Mythical techniques such as Beast Amber as examples of strong targets; the tier snapshot separately places Limitless in A and lists Shrine in S+.
EX options
Ten Shadows, Awakened Blood Manipulation and Awakened Star Rage occupy EX in the dated list. If your only criterion is the highest listed tier, these are the first results to consider. Ten Shadows is also the technique for which the reference explicitly records “Technique gacha – rarity 6.” That rarity notation confirms the gacha classification, but it does not disclose a percentage chance.

S+ options
Shrine, Copy, Star Rage, Beast Amber and Judgeman are in S+. Beast Amber is also described in the beginner material as a Mythical example. Keep one of these when its moves, progression and play pattern match your goals; S+ is not a reason to discard it automatically in pursuit of an EX result.
Limitless and other results
Limitless appears in A on the August 11 snapshot. An A placement can still be the sensible keep if it matches your clan or preferred role better than a higher-ranked technique. For techniques not listed by name above, inspect the live description and the current tier list before deciding; do not infer their ranking from rarity alone.
Use a build check before spending your last pulls
The references do not provide a complete clan-synergy matrix, a full PvE-versus-PvP performance chart or a universal mastery-and-domain progression table. You can still make a disciplined decision by checking the information the game actually shows.
Clan compatibility
Compare the technique’s bonuses and requirements with your selected clan. A top-tier technique that conflicts with your clan’s intended stats may be less useful to your character than a lower-ranked result that supports it. Because no complete synergy matrix is published, make this comparison from the current in-game tooltips rather than from an assumed pairing.

Combat role
Decide whether the character is primarily for player-versus-environment content, player-versus-player fights or a mixture. Tier placement alone does not tell you how a technique feels in either mode. Read the move descriptions, note whether the kit supports your preferred range and tempo, and keep the result that serves the mode you actually play.

Domain and mastery goals
If your plan depends on a domain or a long mastery path, verify that the technique offers the progression you want before confirming another pull. The available sources recommend considering domain and mastery progression, but they do not publish a complete comparison of every path. Treat an unlisted interaction as unknown rather than promising a synergy.
Rarity versus fit
Rarity and tier are separate decisions. Rarity describes how the game classifies an obtainment; the tier list is a dated editorial ranking. Neither one replaces checking the moves, requirements and role of the technique on your own character.
A repeatable reroll workflow
- Finish the tutorial. Do this before attempting code redemption because the beginner guide says it unlocks the Codes menu.
- Open Codes. Use the in-game menu, not a third-party form.
- Try the dated active entries. Start with the four codes listed for September 5, 2026, checking each result immediately.
- Count your Lumens. Record the balance shown by the client; no official pull-cost figure is available in the references.
- Open the cursed-technique banner. Confirm the current price and banner label before accepting a pull.
- Evaluate the result. Compare the live technique description with the August 11 tier snapshot and your clan, PvE/PvP role and mastery or domain plan.
- Pull again only with a reason. Continue while the next result could materially improve your build and you can afford the displayed cost.
- Stop on a suitable keeper. A lower-ranked technique that fits your character is a valid stopping point.
Common problems and fixes
The Codes menu is missing
Return to the tutorial and complete its final objective. The beginner guide specifically identifies tutorial completion as the unlock condition, so changing servers or searching for another code box should not be your first step.

A code says it is invalid
Recheck every character, then consult the current official Codes page. The four entries in the table were listed on September 5, 2026; their status can change after that date.
The code succeeds but you cannot pull
Confirm that the reward included Lumens rather than only Cursed Crystals or Clan Rolls, then check your Lumens balance and the price shown on the technique banner. Those currencies are separate rewards, and the references do not say that Cursed Crystals or Clan Rolls substitute for Lumens on this banner.
You are unsure whether to reroll a result
Use the dated tier placement as one input, then check clan compatibility, preferred combat mode and mastery or domain goals. If the answer is still uncertain, keep the result temporarily and learn its move set before spending the rest of your currency; there is no documented guaranteed-reroll rule to recover a discarded choice.
How current are the codes and tier rankings?
The Codes reference is dated September 5, 2026, and the technique tier list is dated August 11, 2026. Both dates should remain attached to the claims they support. A new patch can deactivate a code, alter a banner, add a technique or change the ranking without changing this article’s underlying explanation of the reroll loop.
For live verification, start with the Jujutsu Zero Official Wiki, its Codes reference, and the current technique tier list. The Ten Shadows obtainment entry is available at this technique page, while the tutorial unlock requirement is documented in the beginner guide.

Bottom line: the fastest supported method
Complete the tutorial, redeem every currently accepted code, and spend the Lumens on the cursed-technique banner. Judge each result against the August 11, 2026 tier snapshot, your clan and your intended PvE or PvP role. Keep EX or S+ results when they fit, but do not discard a workable A result such as Limitless merely because it is not the highest label. Since pull costs, odds and pity rules are unpublished, reroll only as long as the live price and your build goals justify another attempt.
