To revive the Mother Tree, find it in the Fairy Biome, collect Acorns, and plant them at the glowing tips of its broken roots. Guide each root toward an enchanted pool, following the nearby stone diagram and the game’s completion prompt. Guides disagree on whether the puzzle requires three or four roots, so use the live objective—not a fixed count—as your guide.
Reach the Mother Tree in the Fairy Biome
The Mother Tree is part of an event in the Fairy Biome. Campfire level 3 is the most consistently reported access threshold. A June 17, 2026 Bloxodes walkthrough says level 2 may expose the area, but the tree appears reliably at level 3 or higher after a January 19, 2026 update; older guidance describes a level 2–3 requirement. Since the accounts differ, look for the biome and tree in your current run rather than relying on a universal map coordinate.
Collect Acorns
Acorn Wolves are the most consistently reported source of Acorns. Guides also report finding them near glowing plants. The number you need can vary because a root may take multiple Acorn plantings to reach its pool. One June 2026 walkthrough suggests gathering at least 20, but that is a player tip, not a verified minimum.
Plant Acorns and guide the roots
- Check the puzzle first. Examine the broken roots, their glowing tips, the enchanted pools, and the stone diagram near the tree. The goal is to connect roots to pools; the June walkthrough says each root must reach a distinct pool.
- Select or equip an Acorn. Move close to a glowing tip on a broken root. On PC, the June 2026 walkthrough specifies pressing and holding E to plant. Controls for other platforms were not verified.
- Repeat as the root grows. Plant additional Acorns at the glowing tip as needed to extend the root toward its pool. If the interaction does not register, adjust your position slightly and try again.
- Finish the remaining connections. Follow the diagram and the unfinished root tips in your current run. Guides conflict on the total: the Bloxodes walkthrough and Fandom’s Fairy Biome page say three roots, while other fan-wiki location and badge pages say four. Stop when the game confirms completion rather than assuming either count.
Claim the reward
When the objective is complete, the chest unlocks. Guides report a Farm Recipe Tablet or an Enchanted Farm Tablet as the guaranteed reward, with the item name varying between sources. A Botany badge is also reported for completing the event. Other loot is described inconsistently, so treat any additional reward as possible rather than guaranteed.

If the puzzle does not progress
- The tree is missing: Check whether you have reached the Fairy Biome and whether your Campfire is at level 3; that is the most consistently reported threshold.
- An Acorn will not plant: Confirm that an Acorn is selected or equipped, move closer to the glowing root tip, and retry the interaction. The documented E input applies to PC.
- A root seems stuck: Check whether it needs another planting and whether it is being directed toward an available pool. Use the nearby diagram to avoid sending multiple roots to the same pool.
- Your root count differs from a guide: The published guides disagree about whether three or four roots are required. Rely on the current run’s unfinished tips and completion message.
