How do you romance Judy in Cyberpunk 2077? Use a V with a feminine body type and feminine voice, complete Judy’s five-job quest chain in order, and choose the romance-specific dialogue in Pyramid Song. In Pisces, rejecting Maiko’s takeover is the clearest way to keep the romance route open. The scene in Pyramid Song and the separate choice to make the relationship ongoing are two different decisions.
Who can romance Judy?
Secondary guides describe Judy Alvarez’s romance as available to a V with a feminine body type and feminine voice. They do not identify lifepath as a requirement. The first meeting with Judy is during The Heist; she returns in Automatic Love. Her romance quest chain opens later, after Double Life.

Complete Judy’s quests in order
- Both Sides, Now: Judy contacts V after Double Life. The dialogue choices in this job are not described as romance gates, so focus on completing it.
- Ex-Factor: Continue the chain when Judy gets back in touch.
- Talkin’ ’Bout a Revolution: Agreeing to help Judy is the safest way to continue. Some guides describe ways the chain may recover after declining, but that recovery is not guaranteed.
- Pisces: This is the major route-preservation decision. See the next section before choosing how to handle Maiko.
- Pyramid Song: Accept Judy’s invitation and follow the romance-specific dialogue to reach the scene and, separately, decide whether to commit to the relationship.
After a job, carry on with other quests or activities and check your messages and calls. Judy’s next contact is gated by in-game progression, but the reported timing differs; do not rely on a fixed wait.
What should you choose in Pisces?
For the least ambiguous route to Pyramid Song, reject Maiko’s takeover plan. If you let Maiko take over Clouds, Gamers.Wiki’s August 25, 2026 guide says you must refuse her offered payment to keep Pyramid Song available; accepting the payment locks out that final quest and Judy’s romance sequence. Make a manual save before Pisces if you want the option to revisit the decision.

How to trigger the romance in Pyramid Song
Accept Judy’s invitation and complete the job. In the bathroom scene, PowerPyx’s walkthrough directs eligible Vs to choose “[Sit] We’re still synced” and then “[Touch] It is ours” to trigger the kiss and romance scene.

The scene does not by itself establish an ongoing relationship. The following morning, choose the response rendered as “the beginning of something amazing” to commit to being partners. Wording can vary by localization.
What if Judy’s next call does not arrive?
Keep progressing through other quests or activities, advance in-game time, and check messages as well as calls. The reviewed walkthroughs report different delays, ranging from about a day to several days or roughly a week depending on activity. None establishes a guaranteed interval, so avoid treating a specific number of hours as a requirement.

Can you hang out with Judy after the romance?
PC Gamer reports that Judy Romance Hangouts are available at V’s apartments, except in Dogtown, with update 2.1 or later after completing the romance questline. Later patch behavior is not independently established here.
