Where to find Rebel—and why they disappear
Rebel first appears on the rim of Bathsheba’s bathtub in the second-floor bathroom. Their opening conversation is hostile. On the second interaction, Johnny Splash tries to intervene; Rebel rejects the nickname “Rebbie,” says they are leaving the bathroom, and disappears. That disappearance is scripted, not evidence that the route has broken.
Afterward, keep talking to other dateable characters. Rebel may interrupt those conversations at random. Their next fixed appearance is by the office computer near Mac. Speak with Mac after that scene to learn Rebel was searching for something, then return to the bathroom for the later encounters.
How to keep the Love route open
The guide describes Rebel’s route as ten interactions. The main principle is to show steady concern rather than switching between aggression, indifference, or uncertainty. The guide summarizes the choices and outcomes, but does not provide a fully verified word-for-word dialogue script, so follow the caring intent of the options rather than relying on an exact quoted line.

Interaction four: respond with concern
Rebel asks you to choose how to respond: meet them aggressively, show concern, or let them vent. Choose the concerned approach. If you let them vent, the guide says the dialogue names Amir, Stepford, Maggie, Hoove, and Betty before Rebel leaves to borrow electrical tape from Tony; it does not identify that option as the Love-path choice.
Interaction six: don’t say you’re done meeting
Rebel challenges your intentions. Do not tell them you do not want to meet again; the route guide identifies that response as a Hate trigger.

Interaction seven: choose concern, not indecision or cruelty
This is the pivotal fork. A concerned response leads Rebel to ask why you keep coming back and to ask for time. Keep showing that concern. Wishy-washy answers can lead to Friends, while cruelty or walking out leads to Hate.
Interactions eight through ten: continue to the resolution
The later scenes include an office conversation and information from Mac before the route returns to the bathtub and Rebel shares the truth. At the tenth interaction, Rebel has made amends and the relationship resolves as Friends or Love, depending on the choices that brought you there. Avoid pushing for intimacy too early.

Who Rebel is
Rebel is non-binary; use they/them pronouns. The route guide identifies Amanda Hufford as Rebel’s voice actor. It reproduces this character-bio line: “PUNK, FUNK AND FULL OF SPUNK. They are a ReBel without a cause™. And they do not give one. Single. Duck.”
The route guide also reports this caption on Rebel’s Realization ending art: “Graduates of Rebel’s unincorporated charity home found their GPAs stunningly high, athletics through the roof, and more importantly, lots and lots of dates.”
