YouTube lets you arrange Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu videos in a playlist, but its documented playlist controls do not automatically rotate videos by language. For a playlist viewers play themselves, drag the videos into your chosen sequence. For an actual 24/7 live broadcast, send a video feed to YouTube through an encoder and set up the language rotation in the playback workflow feeding that encoder.
First decide what “24/7 playlist” means
A YouTube playlist and a continuous livestream are different things. A playlist is a collection viewers can open and play; changing its order does not make it a live broadcast. A livestream appears as a live event and needs a video feed sent through an encoder connected to YouTube Live.

Choose a playlist if viewers should control playback and you only need a deliberate order. Choose an encoder-fed livestream if you need a live broadcast; scheduling the event does not decide which prerecorded video plays.
How to arrange the language sequence in a YouTube playlist
- Open or create a playlist. In YouTube Studio, create a playlist or open one you manage. When creating it, enter a title and description, set visibility, choose an initial arrangement, and create the playlist.
- Add the videos. YouTube’s playlist controls let you add videos from search, by URL, or from your library.
- Drag videos into the order you want. Move items up or down to make a repeating sequence such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, then the next Hindi video. This is a manual editorial pattern, not an automatic rotation setting.
- Localize the playlist metadata if needed. In YouTube Studio, set the playlist’s default language and add translated titles and descriptions. This translates playlist metadata; it does not identify each video’s spoken language or reorder videos. YouTube notes that advanced features may require one-time verification.

How to make the sequence a continuous livestream
For a true live broadcast, YouTube must receive a video feed from an encoder. The prerecorded Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu videos—and the rules for when to switch between them—belong in the playback or production workflow that supplies that feed. YouTube’s live-stream scheduling controls do not themselves rotate videos or language groups.
- Create or schedule the live event. In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room to create a stream, or use its Manage tab to schedule one.
- Connect an encoder. Use the stream URL and stream key supplied by YouTube Studio to connect the encoder. Treat the stream key as a credential: do not share it publicly, and regenerate it if it is exposed.
- Configure the video playback and switching. Set the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu items—and the desired pattern, such as alternating each video or playing language blocks—in the production workflow feeding the encoder. YouTube’s cited live instructions do not specify a built-in Hindi–Tamil–Telugu rotator, so the creator must choose and configure this logic separately.
- Start the feed and check the live event. Start the encoder output and confirm the event is receiving video in Live Control Room. Scheduling an event can help viewers find it, but it does not make the prerecorded playback continuous by itself.
YouTube explains encoder connections and scheduling in its live-streaming help. Its help page says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That archive guidance is not a promise that one broadcast can remain a single uninterrupted, indefinitely archived event.

Pick a pattern that suits the audience rather than assuming YouTube will infer language from titles or audio. For example, alternating one Hindi, one Tamil, and one Telugu video gives each language regular turns; playing longer language blocks may suit viewers who prefer to listen in one language for a while. The pattern is your programming choice, not a documented YouTube setting.

- Decide whether the sequence alternates video by video or switches in blocks.
- Check that the videos and their order match the intended languages before starting the live feed.
- Keep playlist ordering separate from translated playlist titles and descriptions; those metadata controls do not change video order.
- Review YouTube’s copyright and live-stream requirements for the videos you plan to broadcast. Permission to upload a video does not necessarily establish permission to rebroadcast it in a livestream.
Troubleshooting common rotation problems
- The videos appear in the wrong order: reopen the playlist in YouTube Studio and drag the items into the desired order. Do not expect translated metadata to rearrange them.
- The playlist plays, but there is no live event: a playlist is viewer-controlled playback, not a live encoder feed. Create or schedule a stream in Live Control Room and connect an encoder if a broadcast page is required.
- The live event starts, but the languages do not switch: scheduling and connecting the encoder do not define playback logic. Configure the sequence in the player or production workflow sending video to the encoder.
- The stream ends or its archive is not one continuous recording: YouTube’s help says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; do not rely on one event as an indefinitely archived broadcast.
- The playlist title is translated, but individual videos are not grouped by language: playlist title and description translations localize metadata only; arrange video order yourself.
