You can run a 24/7 meditation stream over JioFiber, but an advertised plan speed is not a promise of uninterrupted broadcasting. First confirm YouTube Live access and content rights, then set a conservative bitrate based on measured sustained upload speed, test the full setup, and plan for power, network, and encoder interruptions. Jio describes its prepaid plans as symmetrical, but local performance and the terms that apply to your account still need to be checked.
What you need for a continuous meditation stream
A YouTube live stream is a feed sent by an encoder—typically a computer running streaming software or suitable standalone hardware—to YouTube Live. JioFiber supplies the internet connection; it does not itself create or maintain the encoded feed. For a continuous broadcast, the encoder, router, broadband connection, and power all need to remain available, and you need a practical way to detect and recover from a failure.
- A YouTube channel eligible to livestream, with live streaming enabled.
- An encoder and a continuous video-and-audio scene or playlist.
- A stable connection at the encoder, preferably Ethernet where practical.
- Music and visual rights that cover live broadcast and any replay you intend to make available.
- A plan for monitoring outages, restarting the encoder, and checking Jio’s applicable terms.
Check YouTube access and clear the content rights
Enable live streaming before the planned start
Confirm the channel is verified and has no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. Enable livestreaming in YouTube Studio well ahead of the broadcast: first-time activation can take up to 24 hours, according to YouTube’s live-streaming access guidance.
Use music and visuals cleared for the way you will use them
You are responsible for having the necessary rights to everything in the live feed. YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions require live content to comply with its Community Guidelines and place responsibility for permissions on the content provider. “Meditation,” “ambient,” or “royalty-free” labels alone do not establish permission for YouTube livestreaming or for an archived replay. Use material you created or have licensed for both uses, retain the written permission and license terms, and check whether the license covers continuous broadcasting, the territories you serve, and replay.

Build and configure the encoder feed
Assemble a scene that can run unattended
In your encoder, create the meditation scene and add the audio and visual sources. Set the destination using the stream details from YouTube Live Control Room; treat the stream key like a password and do not publish or share it. Test the actual loop, transitions, audio levels, and source-file behavior over an extended run. YouTube’s encoder documentation explains the connection workflow, but does not guarantee that a particular loop setup will remain open indefinitely.
Choose compatible encoding settings
YouTube’s current general encoder guidance lists H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1; it recommends constant bitrate (CBR) and a two-second keyframe interval, not exceeding four seconds. Select settings compatible with your encoder and the resolution and protocol shown in the current YouTube setup screen. For bitrate, use the connection test described below rather than assuming JioFiber’s advertised speed is available to the stream.

See YouTube’s live encoder settings guidance for the current recommendations. Settings and available options can depend on the selected resolution and streaming protocol, so check the screen for your event.
Measure JioFiber upload and leave headroom
Test where the encoder will run
- Connect the encoder computer to the JioFiber router by Ethernet if practical; Wi-Fi adds another source of variation.
- Pause avoidable household uploads and downloads, then measure outbound speed repeatedly over time at the encoder’s location. Do not base the bitrate on one short speed-test peak.
- Repeat a realistic test with the household devices that will normally be online. Shared network traffic can reduce bandwidth available to the stream.
- Choose a stream bitrate that leaves at least 20% upload headroom, as recommended by YouTube’s streaming tips. If the connection or stream health is unstable, lower bitrate or resolution and test again.
Jio describes its prepaid JioFiber plans as having symmetrical upload and download speeds. Its comparison page gives examples including 30/30, 100/100, and 150/150 Mbps; those examples are not a guarantee of availability or measured performance at your address. Check Jio’s current plan information and verify the connection at the actual encoder location.

Rehearse the stream and prepare for interruptions
- Schedule an unlisted test and confirm the preview appears in YouTube Live Control Room before making the event public.
- Check the public watch page from a second device and listen for audio dropouts, clipping, silence, or unexpected source changes.
- Watch Live Control Room’s stream health during the rehearsal. Test the encoder’s behavior after a stop, computer restart, and network interruption so the person responsible knows how to restore the feed.
- If you record locally, check that the recording file continues growing during the test. YouTube recommends testing encoder failover and checking local archive-file growth where local recording is used.
- Arrange a way to notice an outage and a realistic recovery plan. A single JioFiber connection and encoder are not, by themselves, a guarantee of automatic 24/7 uptime.
Plan archive expectations separately from stream continuity. The available YouTube guidance does not establish how a continuous event longer than 12 hours will be archived in every case. Verify current YouTube documentation for your intended replay and decide whether you need to split or restart events before promising viewers a complete replay.
Check JioFiber data and account terms
Jio’s home-plan FAQ describes unlimited high-speed data while reserving rights to discontinue service for misuse, fraudulent, unauthorized, or commercial use. Jio’s prepaid terms state that consumption beyond 3,300 GB in a 30-day recharge cycle is treated as misuse under the stated commercial-use policy. The exact plan and account terms matter; confirm with Jio that your intended continuous or commercial broadcast is permitted.

A 24/7 stream can use substantial data. Estimate monthly upload from the chosen bitrate before starting: approximately bitrate in megabits per second × 10.8 GB per day (decimal GB), or × 324 GB for 30 days, before overhead. For example, a constant 1 Mbps feed is roughly 324 GB over 30 days; a 3 Mbps feed is roughly 972 GB. These are arithmetic estimates, not Jio usage measurements. Check actual consumption and the terms for your plan.
