How to Run a 4K 60fps YouTube Live Video Loop on JioFiber

A JioFiber plan’s download speed cannot confirm 4K60 upload stability. Verify your upload, configure YouTube’s encoder settings, and test the complete loop before leaving it live.

You can run a 4K60 YouTube Live loop over JioFiber only if the specific connection can sustain the encoder’s upload bitrate throughout the stream. YouTube’s cited guidance recommends 35 Mbps video for H.264 at 4K60; a Jio plan name or advertised download speed does not prove that upload capacity. Check the exact plan, measure sustained upload from the streaming device, and test the complete loop in YouTube Live Control Room before relying on it.

What you need to know about 4K60 and JioFiber

YouTube accepts live input at 2160p (4K) and up to 60 frames per second. Its English-language encoder guidance recommends 35 Mbps of video bitrate for H.264 at 4K60. For AV1 or H.265/HEVC, it gives a 10–40 Mbps range; that range is not a claim that the lower end delivers picture quality equivalent to the H.264 recommendation. These are encoder video bitrates, not broadband plan requirements or guarantees of stable service. Audio and network variation also need capacity.

Jio’s official comparison page surfaced one example tier with 30 Mbps upload and 30 Mbps download. That example is below YouTube’s 35 Mbps H.264 video recommendation, even before audio and variation, but it does not describe every JioFiber plan. Check the plan offered at your address and test the connection where the encoder will run. A speed test result is a snapshot, not proof of continuous performance.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

Configure the encoder for YouTube Live

For the standard encoder workflow, use RTMPS when your encoder supports it. YouTube also supports RTMP. Configure the input stream rather than assuming YouTube will loop a file: repeating prerecorded video is a playback or encoder-software setting, and you must confirm that it works in a test.

Setting 4K60 guidance
Resolution and frame rate 3840 × 2160 at 60 fps
Video codec and bitrate H.264: recommended 35 Mbps video. AV1 or H.265/HEVC: YouTube lists a 10–40 Mbps range.
Rate control Constant bitrate (CBR)
Keyframe interval Two seconds recommended; do not exceed four seconds
Ingest protocol RTMPS preferred where supported; RTMP is also supported
Audio AAC or MP3 for RTMP/RTMPS; YouTube recommends 128 Kbps stereo
Latency Normal latency; YouTube says low latency is unavailable for 4K

YouTube transcodes live streams into different viewer output formats. Setting your encoder to send 4K60 does not guarantee that every viewer receives 4K60; playback quality depends on YouTube processing and the viewer’s device and connection.

For a different ingestion workflow, Google’s HLS guide describes M2TS media, H.264 or HEVC video, AAC audio, closed GOPs, and frame rates up to 60 fps. HLS is a distinct setup; RTMPS using the standard encoder guidance is the simpler default unless your selected encoder workflow calls for HLS. See Google’s HLS ingestion guide.

Test JioFiber before leaving a loop live

  1. Check the plan’s upload speed. Confirm the exact JioFiber tier available at your address. Do not infer upload capacity from the plan’s download headline or from the provider name.
  2. Measure from the actual streaming setup. Test upload from the computer or hardware encoder that will send the stream, at times representative of when the loop will run. A brief peak result does not establish stability over a long session.
  3. Set the encoder. Choose 3840 × 2160 at 60 fps, a supported codec and bitrate within YouTube’s guidance, CBR, and a two-second keyframe interval. Prefer RTMPS where supported. Set up looping in the chosen playback or encoding software; YouTube does not automatically repeat the source file.
  4. Run a nonpublic test. Use an unlisted stream or another nonpublic test configuration, with audio and motion similar to the intended loop. YouTube recommends testing upload bitrate and testing before starting the live stream.
  5. Check Live Control Room. Review stream health and encoder messages before leaving the stream unattended. Confirm that the video repeats as intended and that audio remains present and in sync.
  6. Adjust and retest if needed. If upload varies or stream health degrades, lower bitrate or resolution, improve the connection, or reduce competing network use, then repeat the test. The cited sources do not establish a JioFiber-specific safety margin or universal minimum upload speed.

Keep the prerecorded loop live

A continuous stream depends on both the connection and the playback/encoding setup continuing to send video. Configure the selected software or encoder to repeat the uploaded file, then verify that the transition between repetitions does not interrupt the stream. Keep the device powered and prevent sleep or shutdown if you are running the encoder locally. Monitor stream health after going live; do not treat a successful short test as proof that the setup will remain stable indefinitely.

Copyright and reused-content checks

Use only video and audio you have the rights to stream, including any music, game footage, or other material in a loop. A stream being prerecorded or repeated does not establish that you have permission to use its contents. YouTube’s copyright and monetization decisions are separate from whether the encoder and connection work; review the applicable rules for your content before broadcasting or building a channel around repeated material.
