Short answer: Vampire Crawlers did not support cross-platform saves at launch, according to poncle’s FAQ, which said the studio was looking into support for the mobile ports. That statement does not confirm whether cross-save was added later. Steam lists Steam Cloud for the game, and Xbox lists cloud saves for its demo, but neither listing establishes a way to move a save between different platform ecosystems. Check poncle’s current Vampire Crawlers FAQ or announcements for the latest status before changing devices.
What kind of transfer do you need?
Cloud saves within a platform and cross-platform saves are different features. A platform cloud-save listing supports syncing within that platform’s ecosystem; it does not by itself show that a save can be moved from Steam to Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch.

How to keep playing on another device in the same platform ecosystem
For Steam, Steam Cloud is listed for the game. For Xbox, cloud saves are listed for the demo. These listings indicate platform cloud-save support, but the sources do not document exact sync steps, timing, or recovery behavior for Vampire Crawlers. Use the platform’s normal cloud-save features and confirm the save has synced before relying on it on another device; no game-specific sequence is established by the listings.
Can you move progress between Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch?
At launch, no: poncle’s FAQ answered the question “Does the game support Cross Save between different platforms?” with: “Not at launch, we’re looking into it on time for the mobile ports.” The wording records launch support and an intention to investigate, not proof that cross-save subsequently arrived. Before attempting a cross-platform move, check the current Vampire Crawlers FAQ or poncle announcements for a newer confirmation.

Do not assume that account or transfer instructions for Vampire Survivors apply to Vampire Crawlers. They are separate games, and the Vampire Survivors guidance does not establish that Vampire Crawlers uses the same account feature.
Does Steam demo progress carry into the full game?
Yes. poncle’s FAQ says that save data carries over on Steam from the Vampire Crawlers demo to the full game. The FAQ does not give a manual transfer procedure, so there is no documented file path or menu sequence to follow.

What transfer methods are not documented?
The official Vampire Crawlers sources cited here do not describe manual save-file copying, supported save-file locations, USB transfers, overwrite handling, or a Vampire Crawlers account-based transfer process. Avoid relying on such methods without current, game-specific instructions from poncle; a platform cloud-save listing is not evidence that manual or cross-platform transfers are supported.
