1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsSchedule the YouTube Live event in YouTube Studio, then use an encoder or continuous-streaming service to send and repeat the devotional playlist. Scheduling creates the upcoming event and its watch page; it does not play or loop your playlist by itself. You must start the feed and, for a standard scheduled event, confirm Go live in Live Control Room.
What you need before scheduling
- A YouTube channel that is verified, has live streaming enabled, and has no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. YouTube says first-time enablement may take up to 24 hours. Its current getting-started guidance sets the minimum age for livestreaming at 16. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
- A playlist of videos you have the rights to use in a livestream, including the sound recordings and compositions.
- An encoder or streaming service that can play the videos and send the program feed to YouTube. Confirm that it supports continuous looping and determine what it does if playback or the connection fails.
Schedule the YouTube Live event
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live.
- Open Manage and select Schedule stream.
- Choose whether to reuse settings from a previous stream or create a new stream. Add the event details and set its planned start time.
- Save the event. YouTube creates an upcoming event and watch page that you can share; viewers may also opt into notifications. For the current controls and event options, see Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder and Manage live stream settings.
The scheduled time is not a promise that a playlist will start playing automatically. The encoder or streaming service must supply the feed, and you should plan to open Live Control Room and start the event when the preview is ready.
Connect and start the playlist feed
- In the scheduled stream’s settings, copy the YouTube stream URL and stream key into your encoder or service. Treat the key like a password: do not share it publicly. If it is exposed, reset it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Configure the playlist in the encoder or service. Check that it is set to repeat for the full intended run; a playlist that plays once is not continuous streaming.
- Start the encoder at the planned time—or earlier if needed to check its signal. In Live Control Room, wait for the incoming preview, inspect picture and sound, then select Go live.
- Monitor the stream and the playback system during the run. Confirm what action is needed to restart the feed after a local computer, power, network, or encoder failure; a scheduled event does not provide feed recovery on its own.
YouTube supports software and standalone hardware encoder workflows. Its encoder directory also lists Gyre as a cloud-based service for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming and CamStreamer as supporting continuous and scheduled streams. Listings are not a comparison of service levels: check each provider’s current features, loop and recovery behavior, costs, and terms directly. See YouTube’s encoder guidance.
Prepare the connection and test before the event
YouTube recommends setting up the encoder at least two hours before an event and starting it at least 15 minutes ahead of the planned start so you can check the preview. Its guidance also recommends keeping upload bandwidth 20% above the total stream bitrate. These are operational recommendations, not guarantees of uninterrupted 24/7 service. See YouTube live-streaming tips and YouTube streaming tips.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Test the full playlist, not just the first video: verify that the final item transitions back to the beginning and that audio continues as intended.
- Check the local internet connection and power if you use an on-site encoder. A connection that works for a short test may still be interrupted during a long run.
- Watch the Live Control Room preview for image, sound, and signal status before starting the public event.
- Decide how you will monitor the feed and respond if the encoder stops or YouTube loses the signal. A long-running stream needs an operating and recovery plan.
Music rights, Content ID, and devotional recordings
Religious subject matter does not make a recording free to stream. Before broadcasting, confirm that your permission covers the specific sound recording and composition, the intended livestream use, and any other rights required for your playlist. A track being publicly available on YouTube is not proof that you can rebroadcast it.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content matches. If a match is detected and the content remains, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the stream. Even if you have a license, a rights holder may need to allowlist your channel through Content ID for uninterrupted live use. YouTube’s terms place responsibility on the provider to have the necessary rights, including music licensing rights from artists, labels, publishers, and other royalty participants. Read YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams and its livestream terms and conditions.

What happens to the recording afterward?
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That statement does not establish that a stream longer than 12 hours will be archived, nor does it make 12 hours a general maximum live duration. If you need a complete replay, check current YouTube guidance and test the exact stream workflow rather than relying on an archive for a continuous broadcast. See YouTube’s encoder guidance.
Common problems and fixes
| Problem | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The event is scheduled, but nothing is playing. | Scheduling creates the event; it does not provide or start the playlist feed. | Start the configured encoder or service, wait for the preview in Live Control Room, then select Go live. |
| The playlist ends instead of repeating. | The playback tool may be set to play once or may not support looping. | Enable repeat or loop in the tool and test the transition from the final playlist item to the first before the broadcast. |
| The stream does not appear in Live Control Room. | The encoder may not be sending a signal, or its stream URL or key may be wrong. | Check the encoder’s connection and the URL and key against the scheduled stream’s settings. If the key was exposed, reset it and update the encoder. |
| Live streaming is unavailable on the channel. | The channel may not meet eligibility requirements, may have a recent restriction, or may still be waiting for first-time enablement. | Check channel verification and live-streaming eligibility. Allow up to 24 hours for first-time enablement, as YouTube advises, and review its getting-started guidance. |
| YouTube interrupts or terminates the broadcast. | A third-party content match may have been detected, or the feed may have failed. | Check Live Control Room and the encoder. Review rights for the matched recording and composition; if licensed material is being matched, ask the rights holder about Content ID allowlisting. See YouTube’s copyright guidance. |
| The stream drops during a long run. | A local power or internet interruption, encoder fault, or lost YouTube connection can stop the feed. | Check the encoder and connection, then follow the recovery steps for your chosen tool. Test its restart behavior in advance; YouTube’s bandwidth headroom recommendation is not an uptime guarantee. |
