That schedules a single broadcast, not a playlist that repeats forever. For a channel meant to stay live around the clock, you need a persistent video feed—provided by an encoder or automation service—and a plan for monitoring, recovery, rights, and archiving.
Choose between a scheduled event and a continuous feed
| Approach | Best for | What happens | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| YouTube Studio scheduled event plus encoder | A one-off aarti program or separate events at set times | You create a broadcast page, share it in advance, and connect an encoder to send the video feed when it is time to go live. | The encoder must be started and the event taken live; scheduling the page does not supply the video. |
| Continuous broadcast with a persistent encoder or automation | A channel intended to remain live 24/7 | A feed keeps sending content to the broadcast. Google’s Live Streaming API documentation models the broadcast and incoming stream as separate resources. | You must keep content flowing and arrange monitoring, recovery, and archive handling. |
YouTube’s creator instructions explain how to schedule an event; Google’s developer documentation describes the separate broadcast and stream resources used in continuous operation. Neither establishes an in-Studio setting that automatically repeats an aarti playlist forever. A 24/7 schedule therefore needs an encoder or automation setup that can keep supplying content.
Prepare the channel and aarti recording
Check live-stream eligibility early
Verify the channel and enable live streaming before the planned launch. YouTube says first-time activation may take up to 24 hours. Its general eligibility guidance also requires the streamer to be at least 16 and the channel to have had no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. Check the current requirements in YouTube’s live-streaming help.
Confirm rights to the exact recording
Before broadcasting, confirm you have permission for the specific performance and recording, including any music included in it. A devotional subject does not by itself make a recording rights-free. The available platform guidance does not settle aarti-specific legal questions, so get permission from the relevant rights holders rather than relying on assumptions.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Test the complete program
- Listen for clear, consistent audio and check levels before the stream begins.
- Review the transition from the end of one video to the beginning of the next; avoid gaps or abrupt changes if you are looping a playlist.
- Test what happens if the encoder or network disconnects, and establish who will restart the feed.
- Keep the stream key private. Use it only in the encoder or service that needs to send the feed.
YouTube’s setup instructions explain how to connect and start an encoder, but they do not guarantee uptime or failover. Treat these checks as operational preparation, not a platform guarantee.
Schedule a single aarti broadcast in YouTube Studio
- Open the scheduling flow: In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live → Manage → Schedule stream.
- Create the event: Start a new stream or reuse prior settings. Set the event details and schedule. YouTube says scheduling lets you promote the stream; share its watch-page URL so viewers can visit the page and set reminders.
- Connect the encoder: Enter the YouTube stream URL and stream key in your encoder. Keep the key confidential; anyone with access may be able to send a feed to the channel.
- Start the video feed at the planned time: Start the encoder and wait for the preview in YouTube Live Control Room.
- Take the event live: When the preview is ready, select Go live in Live Control Room.
- End the event: Stop the encoder feed and end the stream when the program is over.
This workflow creates and promotes a scheduled event. It does not make the video start by itself: the encoder still has to send the feed, and the event must be taken live.

What changes for a 24/7 channel
Around-the-clock operation is not just a longer scheduled event. You need an encoder or automation process that keeps sending a valid feed, with a restart and monitoring plan. Google’s Live Streaming API documentation describes a liveBroadcast linked to a liveStream and discusses continuous broadcasts. This is the developer and automation model; the ordinary Studio scheduling flow is the simpler creator workflow for individual events.
If you use a local computer as the encoder, it and its internet connection have to remain available while the feed runs. Test interruption and restart behavior before relying on an unattended stream. YouTube’s documented setup does not promise automatic recovery if the incoming feed drops.

Plan for archives and concurrent streams
Do not rely on one long replay
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That does not establish that a longer, uninterrupted 24/7 stream will be saved as one complete replay. If preserving the aarti program matters, maintain a separate recording or archive plan, or consider planned segments below the documented threshold.
Check channel and stream-key limits
YouTube’s current help page lists a limit of 10 active streams per channel and 3 active streams per stream key. This matters if you intend to run backup feeds or multiple language or temple streams. Limits can change, so verify the current figures on YouTube’s live-streaming help page before launch.

Troubleshoot common problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The channel cannot go live yet | Live streaming is not enabled, verification is incomplete, or activation is still pending. | Check channel verification and live-stream eligibility ahead of the event. First-time activation may take up to 24 hours. |
| The scheduled page exists, but viewers see no live video | The event is scheduled, but the encoder has not started sending a feed, or the event has not been taken live. | Start the encoder, confirm the preview appears in Live Control Room, then select Go live. |
| The video stops during a continuous run | The encoder, computer, network, or incoming feed may have failed. | Check the sending device and connection, then use the tested restart procedure. Do not assume YouTube will restore the feed automatically. |
| The stream cannot be saved as one full replay | The run exceeded the documented automatic-archive scope. | YouTube documents automatic archives for streams under 12 hours; use a separate recording plan for longer operation. |
| A second or backup feed will not start | The channel or stream key may have reached its active-stream limit. | Check the current YouTube limits and the number of feeds already active on the channel and key. |
