To keep aarti available live on YouTube around the clock, enable live streaming on your channel, connect an encoder to YouTube Studio with your stream key, and monitor the broadcast. YouTube does not guarantee an archive of a 24-hour stream: a session longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. Clear the rights to every recording you play, too; devotional use alone does not grant permission.
1. Prepare your YouTube channel
Before planning the broadcast, confirm that your channel is eligible to stream. YouTube says channels must be verified and must not have a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable live streaming well ahead of the intended start. YouTube’s general eligibility guidance sets the minimum age for live streaming at 16.
Follow YouTube’s current instructions in live-streaming eligibility and its encoder setup guide. If activation is pending, wait for it to complete before relying on the channel for a scheduled aarti.
2. Choose a scene and an encoder
An encoder sends the audio and video to YouTube. For a fixed shrine view, a single-camera setup, or a prepared visual with cleared audio, a computer running streaming software may be sufficient. A standalone hardware encoder or more capable software may suit a production using several cameras, external audio equipment, or overlays. YouTube supports both software and hardware encoders; it does not require a particular model.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Simple, fixed scene: Choose an encoder that can reliably send the selected audio and video source for the planned session.
- Multiple cameras or external sound: Check that the encoder supports the inputs and production features you need before configuring the stream.
- Continuous operation: Account for the computer or encoder, power, and internet connection that must remain available. YouTube does not specify one universal network-speed or backup-power figure for every setup.
For a static visual, avoid adding equipment that does not improve the result. For camera-based worship, test framing and sound levels before the public broadcast. YouTube’s encoder tips cover production and monitoring practices.
3. Create the stream and connect the encoder
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live. In Live Control Room, create a stream or schedule one for the planned start.
- Copy the YouTube Live server URL and stream key shown for that stream into the encoder’s streaming settings. Treat the key like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your stream. Do not publish it or show it on screen.
- Set the encoder’s resolution, frame rate, and bitrate for your chosen production, referring to YouTube’s current RTMPS ingestion guidance and the encoder’s documentation. YouTube recommends RTMPS, a secure extension of RTMP. There is no single bitrate that is right for every resolution and frame rate.
- Start sending the feed from the encoder and wait for the preview in Live Control Room. Check that the picture is correctly framed and the audio is audible and clean.
- When the preview is ready and the stream details are correct, start the broadcast in the encoder or Live Control Room as required by your setup. Confirm the public watch page is receiving the stream.
Keep a test stream private or unlisted when appropriate, and verify how the feed appears on the actual watch page rather than relying only on the encoder preview.

4. Clear the aarti audio before going live
Confirm that you have permission for the specific recording and arrangement you plan to use, including backing tracks and recorded performances. The fact that a stream is devotional does not automatically give you rights to a particular recording or arrangement.
YouTube says, “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” A match can interrupt or terminate a live stream. Even when you have a license, the rights owner may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist to avoid an interruption. If a label or distributor controls the recording, coordinate with it before streaming; YouTube for Artists also advises creators to coordinate when using protected music: Going live on YouTube.

- Use audio you created yourself or have permission to stream live.
- Confirm that permission covers the exact recording and arrangement, not only the composition or devotional lyrics.
- Ask the relevant rights owner whether your channel needs Content ID allowlisting.
- Test the intended audio in advance, but do not treat a successful test as proof that rights are cleared.
5. Test and monitor the continuous broadcast
A successful start does not guarantee that a stream will stay uninterrupted. Test the complete setup before depending on it, then keep an operator or monitoring routine in place for the equipment, audio, video, and YouTube status.
- Run a test broadcast and inspect both sound and picture on the channel’s watch page, including on a mobile device.
- Check for muted, distorted, or unexpectedly quiet audio, and verify that the visual source has not frozen or gone dark.
- If recording locally, confirm that the recording file is growing and remains usable.
- If a backup encoder is configured, test failover by stopping the primary encoder or disconnecting its Ethernet link, following YouTube’s encoder tips.
- Consider local power and internet failure scenarios. YouTube does not set a universal uptime, bandwidth, or backup-power guarantee for your particular site.
These checks reduce avoidable surprises; they are not a promise of uninterrupted service.

6. Plan the archive separately from the live stream
A continuous live feed and a complete replay are different goals. YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, but a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. Very long streams may also have limited or unavailable DVR rewind. See YouTube’s guidance on archiving live streams and stream settings and DVR.
If a full-day recording matters, make a local recording and verify it independently. You can also plan and test a session rotation with a suitable operator and encoder workflow, but do not assume that restarting will create seamless playback or preserve a complete archive; YouTube does not guarantee that outcome.

7. Keep the YouTube feed running in the cloud
If you prefer not to leave a computer or encoder running at home, StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It plays uploaded video rather than broadcasting a live camera, and it only streams to YouTube.
StreamNeo keeps the stream running from the cloud, so your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. Each slot supports uploaded video up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, with no re-encode or quality tiers, plus automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card; it is one free day per account. The monthly option is $9.99 per month. UPI and cards are available in India; card checkout is available worldwide. Start a free StreamNeo day.
