To set up a 24/7 YouTube stream with Livepush, enable live streaming on an eligible YouTube channel, upload your videos, arrange them in a playlist, turn on looping, connect YouTube, and launch a pre-recorded event. Livepush runs the playlist from its cloud service, so your computer does not need to stay on. Its current Help Center identifies the Creators plan as the plan that includes a 24/7 schedule channel; confirm its current price and features before subscribing.
How Livepush’s 24/7 setup works
There are two broad ways to keep a YouTube stream running. With a self-hosted encoder such as OBS, a computer sends the video feed continuously. That gives you direct control over the encoder, but the computer, power, internet connection and software need ongoing attention. With Livepush’s cloud playlist workflow, you upload prerecorded videos and configure a scheduled stream in the service. Livepush describes its cloud setup as avoiding the need to keep a local computer running; its reliability and automation claims are vendor statements, not independent guarantees.
Choose based on the trade-off that matters to you: a self-hosted setup involves hardware, electricity, local upload bandwidth and maintenance, while a cloud setup involves a subscription and the service’s storage and plan limits. This guide covers the Livepush workflow.
Check YouTube eligibility before setup
- Your channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days, according to YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
- YouTube requires streamers to be at least 16 years old.
- Livepush’s guide says first-time activation of YouTube livestreaming can take up to 24 hours. Enable it before you plan to launch rather than leaving activation until the last minute. See Livepush’s YouTube setup guide.
Choose a Livepush plan with a 24/7 schedule
Livepush’s current Help Center identifies Creators as its least expensive social-streaming plan with the 24/7 schedule channel. It lists the plan at $39 per month, or $32.50 per month when billed annually, and specifies 20 GB of video storage. Free and Pro do not list the 24/7 schedule channel. Plan names, prices and inclusions can change, so check the current plan details and Livepush pricing before purchase. An older Livepush guide uses the name “Editors”; the newer Help Center uses “Creators.”

Prepare and upload your videos
Choose compatible source files
Livepush recommends MP4 files with H.264 video and AAC audio. Its setup guide suggests 1920×1080 at 30 FPS with a constant bitrate around 4,000–6,000 Kbps; it also says 720p can be suitable for smaller channels. These are Livepush recommendations, not universal YouTube requirements. Use source files you have permission to broadcast, and check that your total uploads fit within the storage allowance on your plan.
Upload through the dashboard
- Sign in to Livepush and open the video or media area of the dashboard.
- Upload the recordings you want to include. Wait for processing to finish before building the playlist.
- Check each item’s playback and audio, especially if the stream will repeat for long periods.

Build and loop a playlist
- In the Livepush dashboard, create a playlist.
- Add the processed videos and arrange them in the order you want viewers to see them.
- Enable the Loop Playlist option so playback repeats after the last video.
- Save the playlist and check the sequence before using it for the live event.
Livepush says playlists can be edited while running and that edits take effect at a subsequent video transition. That behavior is described by Livepush and is not an independently tested guarantee. See its playlist and setup instructions.
Connect your YouTube channel to Livepush
- In Livepush, open Destinations and choose to add YouTube.
- Authorize the Google account associated with the channel you want to use.
- Select the YouTube channel, then create a live event or select an existing one.
- Set the event title, description and privacy setting. Review the details carefully; they determine how the event appears on YouTube.
- Save the destination and enable it for the stream.

Launch the continuous stream
- Create a new pre-recorded event in Livepush.
- Select the looping playlist you prepared.
- Set the start time and confirm YouTube is enabled as the destination.
- Choose Go Live to start the broadcast.
- Open the event on YouTube and confirm that it is visible and receiving video and audio.
Livepush says it monitors connection problems and can automatically restart a stream. Treat that as a description of its service behavior, not a promise of uninterrupted service or a specific recovery time. For the launch workflow, see Livepush’s guide.
Understand YouTube’s 12-hour archive limit
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived. A single uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast is longer, so do not assume one complete replay will be available afterward. YouTube’s guidance is at the YouTube Help page on stream archives.

Livepush’s 24/7 guide says it creates a new stream session to continue beyond YouTube’s 12-hour limit. That is Livepush’s stated approach; it is not a YouTube guarantee, and it does not establish that a single full-length archive will exist.

YouTube’s encoder instructions say YouTube Partner Program members can monetize a livestream. Running a continuous stream by itself does not guarantee YPP entry, ad revenue, watch-hour credit or eligibility. See YouTube’s live encoder help for its guidance.
