To show a goal for money received through your Streamlabs tip page, set up Streamlabs’ Tip Goal widget: open Streamlabs Dashboard → All Widgets → Goals → Tip Goal, configure the goal, then add the widget to Streamlabs Desktop or OBS Studio. It does not track every kind of donation or platform contribution, so choose a different goal widget for a charity campaign or another event source.
Choose the goal that matches what you want to track
Streamlabs has separate goal widgets for different sources. The personal Tip Goal counts tips received through your Streamlabs tip page. It is not a universal donation tracker.

Streamlabs lists these as distinct goal types in its Goals Widgets guide. If you mean personal tips, follow the Tip Goal steps below. For a charity fundraiser, first build and publish the campaign, then set up its separate charity goal widget using Streamlabs’ charity widget guide.
Set up the Streamlabs Tip Goal
1. Enter the goal details
- Log in to the Streamlabs Dashboard.
- Open All Widgets in the sidebar, then select Tip Goal under Goals.
- In Manage Goal, enter a title and target amount.
- If you have already raised money toward this goal and want the bar to reflect it, enter that figure as the Starting Amount.
- Set the deadline under End After, then save the goal.
Choose these values carefully before saving: Streamlabs says you cannot edit an existing goal’s amount, end date, or current amount. If you need to change one later, you will need to end that goal and create another.

2. Customize how the goal looks
In the Tip Goal settings, choose the standard or condensed layout, adjust the font, colors, and bar size, and review the live preview. Custom HTML/CSS is optional. When the display looks right, select Save Settings. Streamlabs documents these options in its Tip Goal setup guide.
3. Add it to your streaming software
- Streamlabs Desktop: In the Sources panel, select the plus sign, choose Tip Goal under Widgets, and add it. Resize and position the source. Add it to each scene where you want it to appear; reuse the existing source when appropriate.
- OBS Studio: Copy the widget URL from the Tip Goal settings. In OBS, add a Browser source, paste the URL, set the source dimensions, and position it in your scene.
Treat the widget URL as private: do not display it on stream or include it in footage. If the goal does not appear in OBS, check that the Browser source has the correct URL, suitable dimensions, and visibility enabled in the scene you are broadcasting.

Change a goal without losing the progress you have made
Because an existing Tip Goal cannot be edited, note its current amount before ending it. Create a replacement goal with the revised title, target, or deadline; enter the amount already raised as its Starting Amount if you want the new bar to continue from that progress. Then customize and add the replacement widget as needed.
