What you need before Roger Jr. can be selected
- The base game: TEKKEN 8 must be owned on your platform. Bandai Namco’s purchase page identifies the Standard Edition as the base game.
- A supported platform: the official announcement lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam.

Bandai Namco’s earlier Season 3 announcement describes the pass benefit as 120 hours of early access. That is an access lead time, not a gameplay statistic, damage value, or performance rating. Do not assume a pass price or a standalone price until your platform displays one.

Step 1: Confirm that you own the correct base game
PlayStation 5
Check that your library contains the PS5 edition of TEKKEN 8. If you are buying a disc, make sure it is a PS5-compatible release and that the console can read it. A physical copy supplies the base game license; it does not automatically include Roger Jr. or Season Pass 3 unless the package explicitly says so.
Xbox Series X|S

PC through Steam
Use the Steam account that owns TEKKEN 8. The character entitlement must be attached to that same account. If you play on more than one computer, installing the game on another computer does not transfer ownership to a different Steam account.
Step 2: Prepare the game and platform
- Install the base game. Complete the TEKKEN 8 installation before attempting to add character content.
- Apply pending updates. Use your console’s game-update command or Steam’s update process. Menus differ by platform, so follow the labels shown on your system rather than a generic walkthrough.

How to verify that Roger Jr. is installed
The publisher has not published a Roger Jr.-specific menu path or screenshot. You can still perform a safe entitlement check without guessing at menu names:

That information has not been supplied in the cited announcement. Use the game’s own move-list tools after Roger Jr. is available, and treat third-party command lists as provisional until they can be checked against the live game.
