Publish your Tiltify campaign first, then choose how it should appear on stream: add its overlay URL as an OBS Browser source, install the Tiltify Fundraising Extension on Twitch, or connect Tiltify to Streamlabs or StreamElements for alerts. Share the campaign’s donation link separately; an overlay or alert does not replace it.
Before connecting Tiltify to a livestream
Tiltify’s setup applies whether you stream on Twitch, YouTube, or another supported platform, but the integration options are not identical on every platform. Tiltify says streaming is not required to fundraise; its campaign page can display platforms including Twitch, YouTube, Rumble, and Facebook Live. The steps below cover the documented OBS, Twitch, Streamlabs, and StreamElements routes. See Tiltify’s livestream-platform FAQ for its platform information.
1. Create and publish your Tiltify campaign
- Sign up for Tiltify and verify your account using the email it sends you.
- Find the cause you want to support and start a fundraiser, or create a campaign from your dashboard.
- Complete the account and campaign details. Tiltify requires identity verification before launching a personal campaign or participating in its Auction House.
- Set any campaign schedule, milestones, rewards, or polls you want. These are optional campaign features, not requirements for connecting a stream.
- Select Publish Campaign. Your published campaign page is where you can get the donation link and configure its overlay.
For Tiltify’s current campaign setup sequence, see Getting Started with Tiltify as a Fundraiser.
2. Choose how donations should appear
Choose the route that fits your broadcast: an OBS overlay adds campaign visuals to a scene, the Twitch extension gives viewers a donation panel on your channel, and Streamlabs or StreamElements connects campaign activity to those services’ alert tools. You do not need to configure every option.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Use a Tiltify overlay in OBS
- In your Tiltify campaign dashboard, open Overlay, choose an available style, and copy its URL.
- In OBS, open the scene where the overlay should appear. Under Sources, select + and choose Browser. Create a new source.
- Paste the copied Tiltify URL into the Browser source’s URL field.
- Set the browser-source width to 1280 for a 720p stream or 1920 for a 1080p stream. Tiltify’s OBS guide says to set the height to at least 70 pixels to avoid issues.
- Position and size the source in the scene, then check that it is visible and legible. Tiltify describes Compact Overlay as spanning about 60% of the screen; its Original and Overlay 2.0 options use full-width placements at the top or bottom.
The overlay URL is associated with the campaign and is intended to receive donation data from it. These dimensions are Tiltify’s published configuration guidance, not a guarantee that every custom scene will look the same. See Tiltify’s OBS Broadcaster Setup.
Install the Tiltify Fundraising Extension on Twitch
- In your Twitch dashboard, open Extensions, search for Tiltify, and install Tiltify Fundraising.
- Allow popup windows in your browser. Tiltify says they are used to configure the extension and let viewers donate.
- Open the extension’s configuration, log in to Tiltify, select the campaign supported by the extension, and save.
- Activate the extension by assigning it to an extension-enabled panel on your Twitch channel. Tiltify suggests placing the panel among the first channel-information panels so viewers can find it.
- Check the panel on your channel before the event. Configure the extension again for each new campaign.
Viewers can use the panel to donate and apply contributions to available campaign rewards, polls, or milestones. Payment is completed in a popup using a payment method the charity has connected to the campaign. See Tiltify’s Twitch extension guide.

Connect Tiltify to Streamlabs alerts
- Open the Integrations area in your Streamlabs account settings and link Tiltify.
- Check which campaign is selected. Tiltify says the connection defaults to the most recently published campaign; use Manage to select another campaign if needed.
- Use your existing Streamlabs tip alerts for donations to the active Tiltify campaign, and confirm the alert behavior in your own setup.
Tiltify’s guide refers users to Streamlabs for its alert setup tutorials. Read Tiltify’s Streamlabs connection instructions.
Connect Tiltify to StreamElements alerts
- Log in to StreamElements and open Account → Integrations → Tiltify.
- Select Connect and authorize the connection.
- Confirm that StreamElements is connected to the campaign you intend to use and check your alert setup before the event.
Tiltify says this connection allows StreamElements to register campaign donations, but it does not manage or maintain the integration. For connection problems, use Tiltify’s StreamElements instructions and contact StreamElements support for integration troubleshooting.

3. Give viewers the donation link
Copy the donation URL from your published campaign page and make it easy to find independently of your overlay, panel, or alerts. For a YouTube livestream, Tiltify recommends creating the livestream 24–48 hours before the event, putting the donation link and a clear call to action in the description, and posting and pinning the campaign link in chat when the event starts.
- Make clear which link viewers should use if their contribution needs to count toward the Tiltify campaign. YouTube Super Chat contributions do not go to the Tiltify campaign.
- Tiltify’s YouTube guidance recommends sharing the link on social posts, thanking donors, and repeating calls to action every 10–15 minutes. It also suggests trusted chat moderators who can share the link and help recognize donors. These are Tiltify recommendations, not guaranteed fundraising results.
See Tiltify’s YouTube livestream best practices.
4. Check the setup before the event
- Campaign: Confirm the intended campaign is published and that you have its donation link.
- OBS: Confirm the Browser source uses the correct overlay URL, appears in the intended scene, and is readable at your stream canvas size.
- Twitch: Confirm the extension is configured for the intended campaign, saved, and active in a channel panel. Check that popups are allowed.
- Alerts: Confirm Streamlabs or StreamElements is authorized and set to the active campaign.
- Viewer access: Check that the campaign donation link is in the stream description or pinned in chat, as appropriate.
The official setup guides describe configuration steps but do not establish that a connection has been tested in your account. Verify your own scene, panel, link, and alert behavior before relying on them during a fundraiser.

Common setup problems and fixes
- The overlay does not appear in OBS: Check that you copied the overlay URL for the published campaign and pasted it into the Browser source’s URL field. Confirm the source is enabled in the active scene and that its dimensions are set as intended.
- The overlay appears too small or gets clipped: Recheck the Browser source width against your stream resolution: Tiltify specifies 1280 for 720p and 1920 for 1080p, with a height of at least 70 pixels. Adjust its placement in the scene.
- The Twitch extension does not show a donation panel: Make sure you configured and saved the extension, then assigned it to an extension-enabled panel. Allow popup windows for configuration and the viewer donation flow.
- Alerts are associated with the wrong campaign: In Streamlabs, check the selected campaign; the connection defaults to the most recently published one, and Tiltify says Manage can select a different campaign.
- StreamElements connection trouble: Confirm the Tiltify authorization in StreamElements. Tiltify states that StreamElements maintains this integration and handles its troubleshooting.
- Viewers see an alert but cannot find where to donate: Share the campaign donation URL separately in the description, chat, or other relevant channel location. An alert or overlay is not the campaign link.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you also want a pre-recorded video to keep a YouTube livestream running continuously, StreamNeo is a separate cloud service for that job: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Tiltify fundraising setup still requires its own published campaign and donation link.
- Nothing has to stay on at home; the stream runs from the cloud.
- Your video streams as uploaded at any quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot.
- StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream.
- The first day is free, with no card required. Monthly service is $9.99 per month.
