Sign in with your EA Account, link the platform account you plan to use, complete the registration, and accept the playtesting terms. Registration is not an invitation: EA selects participants and notifies those chosen by email.
How to register for Battlefield Labs

Open the Battlefield Labs page or EA Help’s joining instructions and follow the link to the EA Playtesting Portal.

Sign in with the EA Account you intend to use for playtesting. Make sure its details are up to date, then link the platform account you plan to play on.

Complete the Battlefield Labs registration in the portal and accept the playtesting terms.

Watch the email associated with your EA Account for a message from
[email protected]. EA says only selected applicants are invited; its Help page does not give a response deadline. -
Follow the official Battlefield Discord for program updates and, if selected, onboarding details. EA says players chosen for the first session automatically have access to future sessions.
EA Help says only a few thousand people will be invited to the first stage. That is an approximate figure for the first stage, not a published acceptance rate or a promise about later sessions.

Who can take part
EA’s Help page lists the EA app, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S as supported platforms. The Battlefield FAQ says PS5 play requires PlayStation Plus and Xbox play requires Xbox Game Pass Core. These statements do not guarantee that every session will support every platform; check the live portal for the options and requirements shown for the current session.
EA initially described testers and servers in Europe and North America, with plans to expand to Asia-Pacific. That does not establish eligibility for every country in those regions. Check the registration portal for current country and session availability.
PC requirements published by EA
EA’s FAQ lists the following PC specifications for Battlefield Labs. Because they may correspond to an earlier test build, confirm the requirements for your session before installing.

What Battlefield Labs involves
EA describes Labs as a community testing program for concepts and experiences still in development. The purpose is to gather player feedback that can inform the next Battlefield title and future work. Tests may include rough, unfinished content, bugs, or crashes. EA says feedback can cover focused areas such as combat and map layouts, as well as how enjoyable content feels overall.

If you are not selected
There is no guaranteed place or published selection timeline. EA says selected players are informed by email, and EA support advisors cannot grant access. Keep your account and platform link in order, monitor the email tied to your EA Account, and check official Battlefield channels for updates rather than relying on a promised invitation date.
Why EA is asking players to test
EA launched Battlefield Labs on February 3, 2025, as a way to test concepts and mechanics before public release and gather feedback while the game was still in pre-alpha. The program’s stated goal is to give development teams input on experiences they are building, rather than offer an early public version of a finished game.
