A search for a later official beta announcement did not establish another open signup. For any future test, check REMATCH’s official channels; signing up for a newsletter, joining Discord, requesting access on Steam, buying the game, or using Xbox Insider Hub does not guarantee beta access.
How did the 2025 REMATCH beta signup work?
Sloclap’s final-beta announcement, published May 22, 2025, scheduled the test for May 28 at 12 PM GMT through May 31 at 12 PM GMT on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Those dates have passed, so the steps below are historical context, not current enrollment instructions.

PC and PlayStation 5
For the 2025 test, Sloclap directed players to sign up at playrematch.com to request a key, which would be sent by email ahead of the beta. The announcement said direct access on Steam and PlayStation would progressively open on May 29 and May 30 if server capacity allowed. These were event-specific plans, not standing access options.
Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC
Xbox Wire’s instructions for that event were to open Xbox Insider Hub, select Previews > Rematch Beta, choose Join, wait for registration to complete, then install the beta from the Store. Space was limited and registration was first-come, first-served. Sloclap also said Xbox access was restricted by certification timing and that only a limited number of already registered players would receive keys.

- A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON FOOTBALL - Third Person Action - Tackle, dribble, aim, and shoot; dive into the heart of the action from an immersive viewpoint.
- One Player Control - Observe the action, position yourself, execute perfectly: every decision matters, and relying on your teammates is essential to prevail.
- Skill-based Gameplay - In a level playing field, with no player stats, victory is only about player skill and tactical coordination.
- INTENSE ACTION & DEEP TACTICS - Credible Football, with an arcade twist – Feel like an amazing athlete, easily performing all the iconic moves of football.
- Non-stop Action – No fouls, no offsides, no pauses... no time to rest.
PlayStation 5 online play
For the May 2025 beta, Sloclap said PS5 players needed PS Plus to play online. This was a requirement for that beta event and should not be read as a current beta signup condition.

The official beta page links to the full game on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox. Steam lists the release date as June 19, 2025, and describes REMATCH as an online multiplayer football game with 5v5 matches. Buying the full game is a way to play the released game, not a way to enter the closed beta.
