Zelda cannot summon Echoes here because she does not have the Tri Rod.
Get the Lockup Key and leave your cell
- Use Bind on the Lockup Key left outside your cell. Pull it through the door, then use it to unlock the cell.
- Go down the stairs to reach the patrol rooms.
Cross the patrol rooms without being spotted
First room: use the boxes as cover
Bind the boxes to reposition them where possible. Use them to block a Scrub’s route or to give yourself cover as you move behind them. Pause and watch the patrol rather than trying to run past a guard facing your way.

Single-guard passage: wait for the turn
Wait until the guard looks away, then run past and tuck behind the wall to the south. Stay there until the guard turns away from the route again before continuing.
Paired guards: cross when both leave the lower route open
The two Scrubs face opposite directions. Watch their orientation and wait until they turn away from the lower route before crossing. If the timing is difficult, follow close behind a guard as it turns away or use Bind to move a box into part of the patrol path.

Continue through the Lockup
Descend the stairs at the end of the stealth rooms. The next area has cells and decorative shrubs. You can move a shrub with Bind to reveal a side room containing an optional Heart Piece.
