Her detective interactions include an introductory Roomers exchange, a case about an anonymous love note sent to Dorian, the counterfeit-silverware rumor, and a later investigation into Sinclaire, also known as Martin Applegate. The steps below cover the silverware case and the later Sinclaire case.

How to solve the counterfeit-silverware case

Speak with Maggie to start her investigation into the rumor that your silverware is counterfeit. She points you toward Lux, Hoove, and Wallace as possible witnesses.

Talk to any one of Lux, Hoove, or Wallace. Their answers direct you to Stepford; questioning all three is not required according to the route summary.

How to continue Maggie’s Sinclaire investigation
Meet the prerequisite first
Awaken Sinclaire and agree to help him find someone who can solve his case. After that, Maggie asks you to speak with him and examine his story about being Martin Applegate.
Reach an evidence-supported conclusion
Work through Sinclaire’s account with Maggie and base your conclusion on the evidence presented in the game. The character summary describes a choice between conclusions that Sinclaire is a sink or a man. Its account of the sink conclusion is that food containing powerful psychedelics—or, if the player lacks the required SPECS points, excess headache medicine—led him to hallucinate an identity and life as Martin Applegate; after his disposal is flushed, he returns to his former self.
