Start at the ring nearest the bullseye, work outward in the order shown, and then click the final integer on the outer number ring. The board is randomized, so calculate the current arrangement rather than using a memorized code.
What the dartboard colors mean
Each marked segment supplies both a number and an operation. Use the color of that segment on the running total.

Step-by-step solution
- Read the marked segments from the inside out. Begin with the segment in the innermost ring next to the bullseye, then move to the next ring and continue toward the edge.
- Set your starting value to 0. Do not begin with the first dart’s number as a separate total; apply its colored operation to zero.
- Apply one operation at a time. Keep the visual ring order. Do not rearrange multiplication or division according to normal PEMDAS precedence.
- Record every intermediate result. This is especially important when a purple segment creates a fraction or another awkward value on a harder board.
- Click the final result on the outside number ring. The number you enter is the completed running total, not one of the individual segment values.
Destructoid also describes the basic puzzle as sequential calculation rather than ordinary precedence.

Worked example
Suppose the marked segments, read from the bullseye outward, are 15 blue, 11 yellow, and 3 pink:
- Start at 0: 0 + 15 = 15.
- Apply the yellow 11: 15 − 11 = 4.
- Apply the pink 3: 4 × 3 = 12.
- Select 12 on the outer ring.

Why a solution found online may not work
There is no universal answer sequence. The code changes when the room is drafted, and PC Gamer reports that the puzzle becomes harder as it is completed. Treat every new board as a fresh equation.
- Copy the numbers and colors from your current board.
- Ignore solutions based on a different run or a previous board.
- Check the ring direction before calculating; the first operation is the one nearest the bullseye.
Common mistakes and recovery
Using PEMDAS
Applying multiplication before subtraction can produce a plausible but incorrect number. The board’s ring position defines the order, so calculate strictly from the center outward.

Starting from the wrong ring
Reading from the outside toward the bullseye reverses the equation. Identify the innermost marked segment first, then follow the rings toward the edge.
Entering an intermediate number
The outer ring expects the final running total after every colored operation has been applied. Recheck your arithmetic before clicking.

Making a wrong entry
A wrong number resets the puzzle. Recalculate the same board from zero rather than trying to compensate with a new operation. A correct entry advances you to another board.

The required progression can vary. The Blue Prince Wiki describes completion as taking two to six boards, while Destructoid describes a basic progression with an initial tap followed by four equations. Follow the boards that appear in your run rather than assuming a fixed count. Completing the sequence can provide keys or other valuable rewards, and the exact reward or progression may vary.

A reliable paper-and-pencil method
- Write the marked segments in a column from innermost to outermost.
- Write the operator beside each number using the color table.
- Put 0 at the top of a running-total column.
- Calculate one row at a time and copy the result to the next row.
- Only after the last row, locate that result on the outer number ring.
For purple division, preserve the exact intermediate value shown by your calculation and follow any additional symbol or rounding rule displayed on that particular board. Do not silently round a fraction.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Billiard Room have a fixed dartboard code?
No. The marked numbers and colors change between room drafts, so a code from another run is not dependable.
What should I do after solving one board?
Enter the final total on the outer ring. A correct entry reveals the next board; continue recalculating until the room’s progression is complete.
