In the Sunrise Plains ruins, south of Glenbright Manor, turn the four statues so they all face the central pedestal. The statues move in linked pairs, so you only need to adjust two of them. When they lock into the inward-facing position, the Abyss Cresset appears and you can collect an Abyss Artifact.
Where to find the Sunrise Plains puzzle
The ruins are in southern Hernand, south of Glenbright Manor. To reach them, continue south through the fields beyond Glenbright Farm; IGN’s walkthrough places them about 1,600 meters south of Hernand.

How the statue puzzle works
Four statues stand around a central pedestal. The solution is to make every statue face inward, toward the pedestal. The statues are linked in opposite pairs: turning one also moves its partner. As a result, the puzzle can be solved by adjusting one statue from each pair rather than rotating all four independently.
Steps to solve it

Inspect the statues and identify the central pedestal. Use the dials on the backs of the statues to rotate them.

Choose one statue from a linked pair and turn it until both it and its opposite face the center. A walkthrough by Shacknews describes this as turning statue A toward the center.

Adjust a statue from the other linked pair until both remaining statues face the center. Shacknews describes this as turning statue B toward the center.

Check all four statues. Each should face the pedestal. Guides report that a correctly aligned statue reaches a hard stop or makes a distinct, heavier stone sound.
Compass directions depend on the starting arrangement
Some walkthroughs give compass-based moves, but those directions depend on the statues’ starting orientation. For the arrangement shown in its guide, IGN says to turn the northern statue left until it locks, then turn the western statue right until it faces the center. Other guides describe different turn sequences from their own starting arrangements. Use the inward-facing goal and the lock cue to check your result rather than assuming one direction or turn count applies to every setup.

If the statues stop responding or the puzzle seems out of sync
If the linked movements leave the statues in a confusing state, Shacknews recommends fast-traveling far away and returning. IGN also suggests moving away and waiting, or reloading a save.
What you get for solving it
Once all four statues face inward, the Abyss Cresset is revealed. Collect the Abyss Artifact there. The activated Cresset also serves as a fast-travel point.
