Start the event’s prologue from the event quest area, then complete event missions and claim their rewards. Certain claimed mission rewards move your Master piece and unlock new board spaces and story quests. The stopping spaces are predetermined, so there are no random dice rolls to manage. If progress stalls, check for a completed mission reward you have not claimed.
Check your server’s event notice, then start the prologue
When Faerie Sugoroku is available on your server, open its event area and begin the prologue. The official North American site listed the event in its news on October 4, 2026, but the notice details surfaced for that listing did not establish North American entry requirements or an end time. Check the in-game event banner or the official North American site for current availability and eligibility.
The Japanese 2024 notice required players to clear Part 2, Chapter 4, Lostbelt No. 4: Yuga Kshetra, and warned of story spoilers from Avalon le Fae onward. Those are documented conditions for the Japanese run, not confirmed requirements for the current North American event.
How board progression works
Faerie Sugoroku is a mission-driven event, not a board where you choose a dice roll. Its route is a set path, and the spaces where your piece stops are predetermined. To progress:

- Complete listed event missions. Objectives can include collecting specified quantities of items or defeating particular enemy types.
- Claim each completed mission’s reward. Meeting an objective alone is not enough. Certain claimed rewards move your piece and unlock further spaces, missions, or main quests.
- Clear newly unlocked story quests. In the Japanese run, completing a main quest also opened its associated free quest.
- Run free quests for event items. Use them to gather items for event progression and exchange. Some later main quest advances also depended on designated missions.
If the board or quest list stops progressing
Open the event mission list and look for objectives marked complete but with rewards still unclaimed. The official Japanese notice cautioned that an unclaimed mission reward can prevent new missions or event spaces from unlocking. Claim the reward, then check the board and quest list again for newly available content.

Checkpoints, evaluation points, and the challenge quest
Checkpoint main quests award evaluation points. In the Japanese 2024 event, the score record card in the upper-left of the event map showed the points earned. The Japanese notice also made the challenge quest available after all event-limited missions were cleared; after its first completion, it could be replayed.

The original Japanese run lasted from October 16, 2024 at 20:00 to November 6, 2024 at 12:59 JST. Its prologue, first main quest, and later story sections opened on a dated schedule. Those dates describe that past Japanese run; they should not be used as the North American 2026 release schedule. Use your server’s event notice for current timing.
