You can broadcast a Marathi devotional playlist on YouTube Live with an encoder, but an all-day stream is not guaranteed to stay connected—and YouTube may not save a replay of a stream longer than 12 hours. Before you begin, clear every recording for live use, set up the stream in YouTube Studio, test the encoder, and decide whether replay access matters enough to split the broadcast into shorter sessions.
Before you start: check channel access and music rights
Confirm the channel can go live
Verify your YouTube channel and check that it has no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. YouTube’s general live-streaming requirements state that streamers must be at least 16. First-time live-streaming activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before the planned broadcast.
Clear each recording, not just the playlist
Make an inventory of the exact recordings, versions, and visuals you intend to use. Confirm that you have permission to stream both the sound recording and the underlying composition in the territories relevant to your broadcast. YouTube’s live-streaming terms place responsibility for obtaining necessary rights on the content provider, including music licensing rights. The scope of rights you need depends on your agreements and the applicable rights holders.
Do not assume a purchased track, music-service subscription, or “royalty-free” label grants permission to use a recording on a live stream. A devotional song’s age does not establish that a particular arrangement, performance, or recording is free of copyright restrictions. If a licensed recording is interrupted, contact the rights holder about allowlisting your channel through Content ID; having a license alone does not ensure YouTube’s systems will let the stream continue.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
YouTube says, “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” A match can interrupt or terminate a stream. A credit in the video description does not grant rights or prevent a match.
Choose music you can actually use
YouTube points creators to its Audio Library or original music when they need music without third-party clearance. Creator Music is not a shortcut for this use: YouTube’s stated Creator Music terms exclude live streams. Check the specific license for every recording and use case rather than assuming that permission for an ordinary uploaded video also covers YouTube Live.

Set up the playlist and broadcast in YouTube Studio
- Prepare the media. Put the cleared recordings in the intended playback order and prepare the visual you will show, such as a still image or a simple visual. Confirm that the playlist and any displayed text or artwork are also cleared for use.
- Open the Live Control Room. In YouTube Studio, select Create > Go Live, then use the Stream workflow. Create or schedule the event and enter its title, description, visibility, and other metadata. Scheduling ahead gives you time to test.
- Choose an encoder. An encoder converts and sends your video stream to YouTube. For a playlist with a still image or simple visual, a software encoder is a reasonable starting point; a hardware encoder is optional, not required. YouTube supports both software and hardware encoders, and does not establish a single necessary product for this setup.
- Connect the encoder. In the Live Control Room, copy the stream URL and stream key into the encoder’s streaming settings. Treat the stream key like a password: anyone with access to it could send a feed to your event. Use the encoder’s playlist or media-source settings to load the prepared recordings and visual.
- Check the preview before going public. Wait for the encoder feed to appear in the Live Control Room. Check the image, playback order, and sound; then start the event when the preview is correct.
YouTube’s encoder guide lists third-party products, including one described as supporting continuous 24/7 streams. That describes a product capability, not a guarantee that YouTube, the encoder, or your connection will remain uninterrupted.
Test continuity before the audience arrives
- Use a stable internet connection with upload capacity above the total outgoing bitrate, leaving headroom rather than running at the connection’s limit.
- Test the scheduled or unlisted feed before the public start. Check playback on the watch page and on a phone, not only in the encoder preview.
- If you have a backup encoder or failover option, test it before relying on it.
- Start a local recording and confirm that the recording file is growing. Keep this backup if a complete replay matters.
- Monitor the sound and picture during the broadcast. A successful preview at launch does not guarantee that later playback will remain healthy.
These checks reduce avoidable failures; they cannot guarantee uptime. YouTube’s general streaming guidance recommends testing and monitoring rather than promising an uninterrupted broadcast.

Plan session length around replay and rewind
“All day” can be your intended schedule, but it is not a promise that one stream will stay connected or leave a complete replay. YouTube says it can automatically archive streams under 12 hours; if a stream exceeds 12 hours, “it may not be captured at all.” YouTube also says DVR—viewers’ ability to pause and rewind—may be limited or unavailable for streams longer than 12 hours.
If a replay or rewind is important, plan separate sessions shorter than 12 hours and record locally as a separate backup. A session below that threshold is not a guarantee of a complete archive, so keep the local copy if you need dependable access to the full broadcast.

DIY encoder or cloud operation
A software or hardware encoder gives you control over the broadcast setup, but the encoder and media source must keep running and someone should monitor the stream. A hardware encoder may suit a dedicated or higher-production station; for a playlist with a simple visual, YouTube also supports software encoders. The available YouTube guidance does not establish comparative costs, uptime, or performance for the two categories.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Upload the recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live; the cloud keeps the playlist running without leaving a computer, OBS, or home connection on. StreamNeo is #1 for this 24/7 YouTube playlist use case because it runs from the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers the first day free.
