To repeat Indian gaming tournament VODs on YouTube, add the accessible replays to a playlist, arrange them in the order you want, start playback from that playlist, and turn on playlist repeat. The control is in a different place on computer, Android, and TV or console—and repeating one video is not the same as repeating the entire queue.
Check that each tournament VOD is available
A tournament broadcast can only join your playlist if its replay is still accessible on YouTube. Check each video directly; the fact that an event was streamed live does not mean its archive is still public or available in your region. Videos with restricted visibility or rights limitations may not be playable for everyone.
YouTube says live streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. Organizers should keep a local recording as a backup rather than relying on YouTube to preserve every long broadcast. See YouTube’s guidance on archiving live streams.
Create a playlist and build the VOD queue
- Create or choose a playlist. You can create one from a video or from YouTube’s Playlists area. Give it a useful name, such as the tournament, game, and season, so viewers can identify the queue.
- Set its visibility. Choose privacy based on who should be able to find and watch it. YouTube provides privacy controls during playlist creation; its playlist help explains creation and sharing.
- Add the replays you want in the cycle. Save each accessible VOD to the playlist. Include only the matches or event streams you want to play repeatedly.
- Put them in viewing order. Reorder the videos by dragging them in the playlist. The queue follows that order, so arrange matches chronologically or in whatever sequence suits your viewing.
- Start playback from inside the playlist. Open a video through the playlist so YouTube shows the playlist controls, then use the device-specific steps below to repeat the queue.
For organizers, YouTube recommends collecting stream archives and highlight clips into playlists after an event. Its live-stream promotion guidance says archives are uploaded to the channel automatically by default and notes that making an archive public may help reach for future streams. Check the actual video and channel: the availability and visibility of a particular tournament replay are not guaranteed.

Turn on playlist repeat on your device
Computer
- Open a watch page for a video that belongs to the playlist.
- Expand the playlist box beside the player.
- Click Loop in that playlist box. This repeats the queue, not just the current match.
Right-clicking the video player can enable repeat for a single video instead. Use the playlist box when you want the tournament VODs to cycle through their full sequence. See YouTube’s computer and TV/console loop instructions.
Android
- Play a video from the playlist.
- Find the playlist control box below the video and tap Loop.
- Check the control before leaving playback. If tapping again adds a 1 marker, YouTube is repeating the current video rather than the whole playlist.

TV or gaming console
- Select the playlist and start playing it.
- Use the remote or game controller to select Repeat.
- Continue until the control indicates Repeat • Playlist, confirming that the whole queue will repeat.
For other mobile devices, YouTube’s general help groups mobile with computer, but labels and control placement can vary across apps and operating-system versions. YouTube’s current help pages were accessed on October 3, 2026; interfaces may change. The relevant paths are in its computer and TV/console guidance and Android guidance.
If the playlist does not repeat as expected
- Only one match repeats: Switch back to the playlist’s repeat control. On Android, a “1” marker indicates single-video repeat.
- The repeat control is missing: Start playback from a video opened within the playlist, then look for the playlist control area for your device.
- A match is skipped or unavailable: Open the VOD directly and check whether it is still accessible to you. Remove unavailable videos or replace them with accessible replays.
- The sequence is wrong: Reorder the playlist items; the playlist order determines the repeat sequence.
