For a stream that should keep running without a computer at home, StreamNeo is a cloud option: upload your lesson video, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Before setting it up, check channel eligibility, rights to every item in the playlist, and whether you need YouTube to save the stream; YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived, which is not a promise that a 24-hour broadcast will be saved in full.
How do I stream recorded videos on YouTube Live 24/7?
Choose how the lesson files will be played continuously, then send that output to YouTube Live. Your main options are:
| Approach | Computer must stay on? | Setup and maintenance | Interruption recovery | Production control and archive fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Software encoder | Yes, the computer running the encoder and the network connection must remain available. | You install and configure the encoder, playlist, and YouTube stream details, and maintain the computer and connection. The sources do not establish a particular software package or India-specific cost. | Restarting after a computer, application, or network interruption is an operator task unless your chosen software provides a relevant feature; the sources do not establish a tested recovery comparison. | Offers control over the output workflow. It can send a continuous feed, but the stated YouTube archive rule does not guarantee a complete 24-hour saved video. |
| Standalone hardware encoder | A dedicated computer may not be necessary, but the encoder, source media, and network still need power and availability. | Requires compatible hardware and configuration. YouTube recommends professional-grade hardware encoders for higher-production-value events, not for every stream; no India model or price is established. | Recovery depends on the specific device and setup; no reliability comparison is established. | Can be suited to a controlled production workflow. Confirm that the device can play the recorded lesson playlist and that your archive needs are met. |
| Cloud looping service | No home computer needs to stay on when the service plays the uploaded videos in its cloud. | Upload the lessons, configure the YouTube destination, and manage the playlist in the service. Availability and pricing vary; YouTube’s encoder page lists Gyre as an example, not as an endorsement. | Recovery depends on the service. StreamNeo says it automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. | Useful when the goal is unattended playback. It does not remove YouTube’s archive limits or the need to check content rights. |
StreamNeo is the first cloud option to consider here: it keeps a YouTube stream running from uploaded videos in the cloud, at any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, and the first day is free. It is for uploaded videos, not a live camera feed.
Can I loop my recorded classes on YouTube?
Yes. Use a playlist of recordings as the encoder’s source or upload recordings to a cloud looping service that sends them to YouTube Live. The stream appears as a live broadcast, but the lesson content itself remains prerecorded. YouTube’s general encoder guidance supports sending a feed from software, standalone hardware, or listed cloud services; it does not make this workflow India-specific advice.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Before building the playlist, check that the files play in the order you expect, that their audio is audible, and that each video can be used in a public broadcast. Include breaks or a clear slate between modules if viewers need to distinguish one lesson from the next. Keep a separate copy of the original lesson files: a YouTube live archive is not a substitute for a verified source backup.
What do I need to stream recorded lessons continuously?
- A verified YouTube channel with no live-stream restriction during the previous 90 days. YouTube’s current live-stream help documentation, accessed in 2026, says the minimum age to live stream is 16.
- Live streaming enabled on the channel. YouTube says first-time activation may take up to 24 hours, so enable it before your planned broadcast.
- Recorded lesson files and a playlist or playback method compatible with the encoder or cloud service you choose.
- A stable internet connection with enough upload capacity for the stream. YouTube’s current streaming tips, accessed in 2026, recommend leaving 20% upload-bandwidth headroom.
- The YouTube server URL and stream key for the broadcast, entered in the encoder or service.
- Permission for the lesson video, audio, images, music, and any embedded third-party material that will be streamed or archived.
How to set up the YouTube encoder workflow
- Enable live streaming: Sign in to YouTube and check the channel’s live-stream eligibility and restrictions. Complete the requested verification and enable live streaming in advance; initial activation can take up to 24 hours.
- Choose the playback method: Set up a software encoder on a computer that can remain on, configure a standalone hardware encoder, or use a cloud service that supports prerecorded video looping. YouTube lists these categories and names Gyre as an example cloud service; that listing is not an endorsement.
- Create the broadcast in YouTube Studio: Open YouTube Studio, create or schedule a live stream, and select the encoder workflow. Copy the server URL and stream key shown for that stream.
- Protect and enter the stream key: Paste the server URL and key into the encoder’s YouTube destination settings. Treat the key like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to that broadcast. Do not publish it or include it in lesson materials.
- Configure and start playback: Load the lesson playlist, check its order and repeat behavior, then start the encoder or cloud stream. Keep the encoder settings compatible with your source and connection; the cited YouTube material does not establish one universal bitrate or resolution for every lesson file and setup.
- Inspect the Live Control Room: Wait for YouTube’s preview, confirm that the correct lesson appears, and listen for audio before making the stream public or starting the planned session. Keep the preview and stream status under observation during operation.
Will YouTube save a 24-hour live stream?
Do not rely on a single 24-hour broadcast being archived in full. YouTube’s current encoder setup help documentation, accessed in 2026, states: “All streams under 12 hours will be automatically archived.” That establishes automatic archiving for streams shorter than 12 hours; it does not guarantee a complete archive for a 24-hour stream, and the documentation does not explain every case for longer continuous broadcasts.

If a saved recording matters, schedule shorter sessions that remain under 12 hours and verify each resulting archive, or make a separate local recording of the program feed. Plan stream breaks so that the audience knows when one broadcast ends and the next begins. Keep source lesson files independently; avoid assuming that a live stream archive will serve as the only copy.
Keep the stream stable and monitor it
Continuous broadcasting still depends on the encoder or service, network, and YouTube accepting the feed. YouTube’s streaming tips recommend leaving 20% headroom above the stream’s upload-bandwidth requirement. Use a reliable wired connection where practical, avoid competing uploads on the same connection, and monitor YouTube Studio’s preview and status indicators rather than assuming the playlist is still reaching viewers.

Check copyright and lesson-content rights before going live
YouTube says, “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” A match can interrupt a stream. YouTube also notes that even content for which you have a licence may require the rights holder to allowlist your channel to avoid interruption.
Its livestream terms place responsibility on the provider to have the necessary rights for live content on Google services worldwide, including music licensing rights and public performance permissions. This is YouTube’s general statement, not an India-specific legal analysis. Before looping a class, confirm that your permissions cover broadcasting and any archive, including footage, slides, music, images, clips, and third-party material embedded in a recording. A course purchase or permission to show a clip in class does not by itself establish permission to broadcast it publicly.

Does looping lessons qualify for YouTube monetization?
Continuous broadcasting does not guarantee monetization. YouTube’s channel monetization policies apply to live streams, and its inauthentic-content policy covers repetitive or mass-produced material that offers little variation or value. A playlist that repeats the same recordings may therefore be ineligible for monetization, depending on the channel and content. Make lessons original and useful, and do not treat watch time from a continuous stream as promised revenue.
