Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteWindows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallYou can stream recorded GATE lectures continuously on YouTube by creating a live stream in YouTube Studio and sending it a repeating playlist through an encoder—or a cloud playout service. Before you set it up, confirm that you have permission to rebroadcast every recording and any material inside it. A technically successful stream can still be interrupted or terminated for rights issues.
Before you start: confirm the rights to every recording
Being educational, publicly available, or already uploaded online does not by itself establish that a lecture can be rebroadcast continuously on your YouTube channel. YouTube’s live-stream terms say that the person streaming represents that they have the necessary rights to the live content. Ask the rights holder for permission that covers public, continuous streaming on YouTube and any archive you intend to keep.
Check the whole recording, not just the lecture itself. Slides, music, clips, guest appearances, and other included works may have separate rights. Keep a record of the source, owner, permission, and any limits on territory, duration, or use.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match can trigger a warning, replacement of the feed, interruption, or termination. If you have licensed material that is identified by Content ID, YouTube advises asking the rights holder to add your channel to its allowlist; having a licence alone may not prevent an interruption.

Indian copyright law includes rebroadcast and communication to the public within its definitions and recognizes rights in communicating works to the public, subject to statutory exceptions. The Copyright Office describes limited exceptions, including fair dealing for specified purposes and certain institution-based educational uses with conditions. These provisions do not establish general permission to rebroadcast an entire lecture series on a public YouTube channel. Resolve the specific licence and rights-holder position before going live; seek legal advice if the applicable rights are uncertain.
Check that your YouTube channel can go live
YouTube’s current live-stream guidance requires a verified channel with no live-stream restriction in the preceding 90 days. If this is the channel’s first live stream, activation can take up to 24 hours. Check eligibility and allow time for activation before scheduling a launch.

Choose how the recordings will play continuously
You need a playback method that can repeat the recordings and an encoder path that sends the video to YouTube. YouTube supports software and hardware encoders, and its encoder guide lists a cloud tool for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming. A listing demonstrates that cloud playout is an available type of workflow; it is not an endorsement or a guarantee of a provider’s current terms.
| Setup | Best suited to | Plan for |
|---|---|---|
| Computer with encoder software | A creator who wants local control and can keep the computer, playback, network, and power available. | Automating the playlist, restarting playback or the encoder after a failure, and maintaining upload bandwidth. |
| Hardware encoder | A separate encoding device or a higher-production workflow. | Reliable input and power, plus a person or process to monitor and recover the stream. YouTube presents hardware as an option; a dedicated device is not required for every channel. |
| Cloud continuous playout | Unattended playback without relying on a home computer to remain on. | Checking the provider’s current capabilities, service terms, availability, and recovery behavior. |
Choose based on whether your setup can queue and repeat the recordings unattended, detect and recover from an interruption, and sustain the required upload bandwidth. Decide separately whether you need scheduled segments, local control, or an archive.

Set up a continuous lecture stream
- Inventory the content. Identify each recording and its rights holder. Check for embedded third-party works and confirm that your permission covers continuous public streaming on YouTube and any planned archive.
- Verify live-stream eligibility. In YouTube Studio, confirm that the channel is verified and can stream live. If live streaming has not been activated before, allow up to 24 hours for activation.
- Prepare the playback queue. Arrange the recordings in the order you want viewers to see them and configure the chosen player or service to repeat them. Test that the sequence moves from one recording to the next and restarts as intended.
- Create a stream in YouTube Studio. Open Live Control Room and create or schedule a stream. Copy its server URL and stream key into your encoder or cloud service. Treat the key like a password: anyone who has it may be able to send a feed to your channel.
- Preview before publishing. Start the encoder and check the Live Control Room preview. Confirm that both picture and audio are present, that the intended recording is playing, and that transitions and looping work with the actual files.
- Check network headroom and monitor quality. YouTube advises keeping upload capacity above the stream’s bitrate and monitoring stream quality. Do not plan to use all available upload bandwidth for the stream.
- Publish and assign responsibility. Decide who will respond to a dropped encoder or connection, playback failure, or rights warning. Stop or correct any content YouTube flags, and have a recovery plan for service, power, and network interruptions.
Plan the archive separately from the live feed
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume a 24/7 stream will be saved as one complete video. If you need individual lecture recordings or a dependable archive, retain the source files and plan a separate publishing or recording workflow.
Troubleshoot common problems
- You cannot start a live stream: Check channel verification and whether the channel has a live-stream restriction in the preceding 90 days. For first-time activation, allow up to 24 hours.
- The preview is blank or has no audio: Confirm that the player is running, the correct source is selected, and the encoder is sending the intended feed. Test the actual recording and playback sequence before publishing.
- The stream becomes unstable or drops: Check upload capacity and leave headroom above the stream bitrate, as YouTube advises. Check the internet connection, encoder, and power, then restore the feed and verify it in Live Control Room.
- YouTube warns about third-party content: Stop or correct the flagged material. If you have permission for the identified content, ask the rights holder to allowlist your channel through Content ID; permission does not itself guarantee the live feed will avoid interruption.
- The full day is not available as one archive: A 24/7 broadcast is longer than YouTube’s stated automatic-archive threshold of streams under 12 hours. Keep source files and use a separate archive plan.
Or let it run in the cloud
