To move a Hindi pre-recorded YouTube loop from Restream to OneStream Live, reconnect the same YouTube channel in OneStream, recreate the event and its Hindi details, choose the repeat or 24/7 option you need, then run and verify a test before ending the Restream schedule. The services’ documentation describes rebuilding the event; it does not establish that Restream schedules, uploads or metadata transfer automatically.
What changes when you switch
Treat this as a recreate-and-test migration, not an account import. Both services let you select or upload a pre-recorded video, set event details, choose a destination and schedule a broadcast. Their documented loop controls differ:

OneStream’s help describes up to 60 loops in its repeat procedure and separately describes an infinite 24/7 YouTube mode. These are different choices: a finite repeat count is not continuous operation. Confirm the exact control displayed in your account.
Before you switch: save the existing setup and check eligibility
Record the event details
Write down the intended YouTube channel, source video, Hindi title and description, thumbnail, tags and category if used, visibility, schedule and time zone, and whether the loop should repeat a fixed number of times or continue indefinitely. Keep a local copy of the source video if you need a dependable full-length archive; YouTube may not capture a stream that exceeds 12 hours. YouTube’s archive guidance.

Confirm live access and content rights
- YouTube says the channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Creators must be at least 16 to livestream. Check the channel before test day. YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
- The creator must have the rights needed to broadcast the video and its audio, including relevant music rights. This applies to bhajans, kirtan, Gurbani, Hindi music and other recordings just as it does to any other content. YouTube’s terms state that live content must comply with its Community Guidelines. - Changing streaming services does not make repetitive content eligible for monetization. YouTube’s July 15, 2025 clarification says repetitive or mass-produced content may be considered “inauthentic content” and ineligible for monetization, particularly where there is little educational value, commentary, narrative or variation. Recreate the Hindi YouTube loop in OneStream
- Connect the intended YouTube channel. In OneStream, open Social Platforms, choose Add Account, select YouTube, and authorize the Google account that owns the channel. Check the selected Google account if OneStream connects the wrong channel. OneStream recommends connecting accounts before streaming; Restream’s YouTube guidance also says the channel owner must authorize the account. - Start a pre-recorded stream. Select Pre-recorded Stream in OneStream. Add the video from Device, OSL Storage or Cloud Storage, as applicable to your setup. Choose YouTube as the destination. OneStream’s first-stream guide.
- Re-enter the event metadata. Enter the Hindi title and description and set the thumbnail, tags and other available details. Set visibility and schedule to match your intended test or broadcast. Do not rely on Restream’s event details being copied. OneStream’s first-stream guide.
- Choose the loop behavior. For a finite replay, set the repeat count using OneStream’s loop control; its procedure documents up to 60 loops. For continuous operation, look for the separate 24/7 feature, which OneStream describes as infinite looping for YouTube only, and confirm it is available in your account. - Schedule a test first. If your channel workflow permits, schedule a private or unlisted test. Confirm the event appears on the intended channel, the Hindi title and thumbnail are right, video and audio play, and the loop repeats or continues as intended. YouTube recommends checking event accessibility and monitoring audio/video quality. YouTube’s live-streaming tips.
- Replace the old schedule only after verification. Once the OneStream test succeeds, schedule the public version. End or remove the Restream schedule only when you have verified the replacement. Avoid having both services send a broadcast to the same channel at the same time unless that is intentional.
Video settings and archive limits to know
Encoder settings are not necessarily exposed in a pre-recorded workflow
Restream’s YouTube guidance recommends H.264 video, CBR, two-second keyframes and AAC or MP3 audio for encoder streaming. Those settings are relevant when configuring an encoder; a cloud pre-recorded workflow may handle or hide them, so do not assume you need to find encoder controls in OneStream. A long-running live event is not a reliable full archive
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. A 24/7 loop should not be treated as one complete replay. Keep the original file or another recording if preserving the whole video matters. YouTube’s archive guidance.

Common problems and fixes
- The wrong YouTube channel is connected: Check which Google account was authorized, then reconnect using the account that owns the intended channel. Confirm the channel in OneStream before scheduling.
- You cannot go live: Verify the channel and check for a restriction in the previous 90 days; confirm the creator meets YouTube’s age requirement. A streaming-service change does not bypass a YouTube restriction. YouTube’s eligibility guidance.
- The event is missing its old title, thumbnail or schedule: Re-enter and verify each field in OneStream. The documented workflow is to create an event there; automatic migration of Restream metadata is not established.
- The video stops after a set number of plays: Check whether you selected a finite repeat count rather than the separate 24/7 mode. Confirm the account’s available controls before scheduling a long run.
- The archive ends early or is absent: YouTube may not capture streams longer than 12 hours at all. Preserve the local source file rather than depending on a continuous live archive. YouTube’s archive guidance.
- Copyright or monetization concerns arise: Confirm rights to every video and audio element before rebroadcasting. A repeated stream may also raise YouTube’s inauthentic-content policy concerns; switching providers does not change those policies. YouTube’s terms · Monetization policies.
