To switch between Clash of Clans villages on one device, link each village to its own Supercell ID. In the game, open Settings → Connected under Supercell ID, log out, then choose Log in with Supercell ID → Log in with another ID and sign in with the next account’s email. Supercell describes Supercell ID as the supported way to play several game accounts on one device.
Switch between villages already linked to Supercell ID
- Open Clash of Clans and tap Settings.
- Under Supercell ID, tap Connected, then choose Log out. The game returns to its title or loading screen.
- Tap Log in with Supercell ID, then Log in with another ID. Enter the email address for the next Supercell ID and, if prompted, enter the verification code sent to that address.
- When adding or saving an ID, keep Remember me on this device selected. This lets you switch among saved IDs without entering a verification code each time.
Repeat the sign-in steps to add other linked accounts to the device. Button wording can change with game updates, but use the in-game Supercell ID controls. See Supercell Support’s multiple-account guide and its Supercell ID overview.
Link a village that is not connected to Supercell ID
First load the village you intend to link. On Android, make sure the device is using the Google account associated with that village; on iOS, use the associated Game Center account. Open the game and confirm the correct village appears before registering it.
- With the intended village loaded, go to Settings → Supercell ID → Register New and follow the prompts to connect it to a Supercell ID.
- To link another village that is still associated with a different Google or Game Center account, log out of the newly registered ID.
- Choose Play without Supercell ID so the other account context loads its village. Confirm that it is the village you want, then register it to a different Supercell ID.
- Repeat for any remaining villages. Use the newest verification code if you request more than one; only the latest code works.
Attaching the wrong village to an ID can leave the village you meant to protect unlinked. Check which village is loaded before choosing Register New.

Android: change which Google-linked village loads
If Clash of Clans opens the wrong Google-linked village, change the Google account assigned to the game in Google Play Games. This changes the Google account context; for routine switching among multiple villages, Supercell recommends connecting them to separate Supercell IDs.
- In the Google Play Games app, open its menu and go to Settings → Your data → Change account for games.
- Find Clash of Clans, tap Change, and select the Google account you want the game to use. Multi-account players may choose to be asked each time which account to sign in with.
Alternatively, open the Android device’s Settings, search for Play Games, then open Sign in Account. Find Clash of Clans and select Change. Labels can vary by Android version. Supercell’s instructions are in “The Google button is gone! Where are my accounts?”

Which account route should you use?

Protect saved logins and recover access
- Keep access to the email address associated with each Supercell ID so you can receive sign-in codes.
- On Android, uninstalling Clash of Clans wipes saved Supercell IDs from the app. On iOS, resetting the device wipes saved logins. You can sign in again using the saved-ID flow, but you will need access to the relevant account email.
- If you cannot access a village, use the game’s Help and Support rather than guessing credentials or repeatedly linking accounts. Supercell’s account-progress notice directs players to in-game support: Amazon Players: Transfer Your Data Before August 20th!
Check device compatibility before moving accounts
Supercell’s current compatibility notice says Clash of Clans will no longer be available on Amazon devices or on devices below Android 7 or iOS 15 after its next update. Because the threshold is update-dependent, check the current support notice before moving to another device. If your device is affected, Supercell directs players to connect the account to Supercell ID and continue on a supported device. The separate Amazon transition page gave August 20, 2025 as its transfer deadline; that date has passed.
