Take a screenshot with Roblox Captures

While you are in an experience, open the hamburger menu in the upper-left corner.

Select Captures.

Tap the capture icon on the right side of the screen to take the screenshot. If the icon is not visible, open the hamburger menu and choose Capture to add or remove it.

Use a device screenshot instead when you want the whole screen
A device or operating-system screenshot captures the screen as displayed, rather than using Roblox’s Captures treatment that removes in-experience UI. On desktop, Roblox Support also documents opening the in-experience menu, selecting the Record tab, then choosing Take Screenshot; the PrintScreen key can skip those menu steps. On Mac, the documented shortcuts are Command-Shift-3 for the full screen and Command-Shift-4 to select an area. These are related desktop instructions; the Captures feature uses the separate hamburger-menu and Captures labels.
On some Windows systems, PrintScreen may need to be used with Ctrl, and the resulting image can be pasted into an image program. Roblox does not give one universal Android shortcut; use the instructions for your device and Android version. View, save, or delete your captures
To find screenshots, enter an experience, open the Roblox menu, and select Captures. Open an image in the carousel and use its save icon to copy it outside Roblox storage: to the camera roll on mobile or the desktop Pictures folder.
Roblox says screenshots left in its app storage are deleted if you delete the Roblox application. Save any image you want to keep independently before uninstalling. To remove an image from the gallery, select it and use the trash-can icon.

Sharing and privacy limits

Sharing screenshots through the in-experience flow is available to users aged 13 or older on mobile.

Roblox says this screenshot flow removes in-experience UI and names above avatars in the frame, and does not record voice or other audio.

A share can include an invite link to the experience session, but some devices or apps may not support sharing the image and link together. If the player has left the experience before the recipient opens the link, the recipient sees a message that the player is no longer there.
