A secondary guide places it in Carcadia Burns, though an exact route and the jar’s tipping costs are not confirmed here. What is confirmed: an official update dated February 19, 2026 added Phosphenes drops for Cold Shoulder and Sweet Embrace to its loot pool, and those drops count toward the Phosphene challenge.
Where to find Moxxi’s Tip Jar
Game8 identifies Carcadia Burns as the location, but that claim comes from a search-result description rather than a retrievable full guide or official location instructions. Check your in-game map or area markers for the Tip Jar; the available information does not establish a precise route or landmark.

How tipping works—and what remains unclear
The Tip Jar is an in-game loot source, not a real-world purchase requirement. The available information does not establish the tip denominations, the amount needed to receive an item, or whether a particular number of tips guarantees a reward. Treat any exact cost or guaranteed threshold you see elsewhere as unverified unless your current game confirms it.
What rewards can you get?
Borderlands Support’s February 19, 2026 update notes confirm that Phosphenes drops for Cold Shoulder and Sweet Embrace were added to Moxxi’s Tip Jar loot pool. The notes also say these previously unattainable drops count toward the Phosphene challenge, making that challenge completable.
