In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, open Challenges > Weapons from the top-right menu to see camo progress across supported weapons. For one weapon, go to Loadout > Gunsmith > Customize > Camo. Track Multiplayer and Modern Warfare Zombies separately: their challenge families and conditions differ.

- Weapon overview: Open the top-right menu, select Challenges, then Weapons. This shows camo progress across supported weapons.
- Single-weapon view: Open Loadout, choose Gunsmith, then Customize > Camo.
Menu labels can change with updates, so use the current in-game screen if the path differs.
Build a tracker that keeps modes and weapons distinct
A checklist is useful for comparing your own progress, but it is a manual aid rather than a separate synchronized progress system. Give every weapon and mode combination its own row; do not assume the same weapon has the same conditions in Multiplayer and Zombies.

The official guide says MWII camo challenges and mastery content carry forward into MWIII. That makes the weapon generation field useful when keeping older and newer weapon tracks organized. See the MWIII launch communications for the carry-forward context.
Check the live requirement before each session
- Open the relevant weapon’s camo screen and identify the next locked camo or mastery tier.
- Read the full challenge text, including its mode and any weapon-specific condition.
- Record that exact condition beside the correct weapon and mode in your checklist.
- After playing, return to the in-game view and confirm whether its displayed progress or unlock state changed.
Mastery tiers can add weapon- or mode-specific actions beyond earlier camo requirements. Use what the game currently displays rather than relying on a remembered checklist: requirements vary by weapon and category, and updates can change criteria.

What to do when progress does not move
- Compare the action you completed with the exact active challenge text. Confirm that you used the right weapon and mode.
- Check the in-game screen again for a changed requirement or unlock state.
- Look at the official MWIII patch notes and subsequent patch notes for documented tracking or criteria fixes. These examples establish that such fixes have occurred, not that every current tracking issue is a known bug.
- If the challenge still appears stuck, keep the weapon, mode, displayed condition, and progress status in your notes; confirm the unlock in-game rather than treating an external checklist as authoritative.
Can an external tracker show progress across modes?
The official materials cited here document in-game progress views, not an external tracker that synchronizes camo progress across Multiplayer and Zombies. A spreadsheet or third-party checklist can help you organize manually, but verify its current features independently and confirm unlocks in the game.
