To see Super Thanks earnings from a 24/7 YouTube stream, check the archived replay in YouTube Studio: open Analytics > Revenue > How you make money > Supers. Super Thanks is not available while a stream is live, but it may be enabled on an eligible archived long-form replay. If Analytics is filtered to Live, switch to Live & on demand or choose a revenue-capable report.
Live support and replay support are different
YouTube excludes live streams and Premieres while they are live from Super Thanks. The feature may be available on an eligible archived long-form video afterwards. For support during the broadcast, YouTube’s live-stream features include Super Chat and Super Stickers; Super Thanks applies to eligible videos viewers can watch after the broadcast. Find the Super Thanks revenue report
- Confirm channel access. In YouTube Studio, check Earn > Supers and complete the Commerce Product Module requirements if prompted. The Supers tab is available to eligible channels. YouTube’s Super Thanks setup and management instructions describe the feature and its revenue reporting.
- Wait for the broadcast archive. Confirm that the stream has ended and that its archived long-form replay is available. Completed streams can appear as replays or highlights, but YouTube does not promise that every continuous broadcast will produce one eligible archive or specify how every stream is segmented. Check the resulting video in Studio. See YouTube’s guidance on live streams.
- Check the replay’s eligibility and restrictions. In Studio, inspect the specific video for restrictions. Super Thanks is not available on certain videos, including private or unlisted videos, age-restricted or Made for Kids content, some videos with copyright claims, and videos with comments turned off. - Open the Supers breakdown. In Studio Analytics, select Revenue, then the How you make money card, then Supers. This is the revenue breakdown for Super Thanks.
- Change the content filter if revenue is missing. If the report is filtered to Live, select Live & on demand or use a report that supports revenue. YouTube says revenue reports are unavailable when filtering for Live. When comparing figures, check whether you are looking at the live stream or its replay, including the video ID. Find comments from Super Thanks purchasers
To identify comments associated with purchases, open Studio’s Comments and use the From Super Thanks filter. This is a way to find purchaser comments, not a complete earnings ledger: a purchaser’s deleted comment may no longer appear. Use the Supers revenue breakdown for earnings, as described in YouTube’s Super Thanks instructions.
Understand the reported creator share
YouTube’s current Help guidance, checked in 2026, says creators receive 70% of Super Thanks revenue recognized by Google. YouTube calculates this after taxes and fees, including applicable iOS App Store fees; YouTube currently covers transaction costs such as credit-card fees. The 70% figure is not a guarantee that the analytics value will equal 70% of the viewer’s displayed purchase price. See YouTube’s Super Thanks revenue guidance.
